Is there a possibility that she has an ear infection?? And since it's late what is the best way to soothe the baby until they can take her to the doctor??? Please help... She is a first time mother.... She's soooo frustrated!!!

It is possible that she has an ear infection, since she is so young u cant giver her any medication to soothe the ache. Try to give her like a warm bath to relax and soothe her that way. Untill she see'e the docotr there isnt too much u can do but really, be patient and tough it out.

I'm not sure about whether a one-month old baby could actually tug on her ear or not. Anyways, yeah when older babies do that they could have an ear infection or it could be a soothing thing, like sucking their thumb. I would def. get it checked out because my son had a lot of ear infections as an infant. Good luck to her.

baby tylenol. but 1st has she had a cold?if she has then it could be an ear infection. since she is so young,she should call the dr. but does the baby have a fever at all? usually there is a fever with an ear infection. one month olds cry alot,unfortunely. have her try swaddling her, pacifier,breastfeed or bottle.i do not believe a 1 month old can pull on their ear, my 11 mon. old never did that at such a young age.

The baby could just be over stimulated and tired, I doubt that a one month old could actaully pull it's ear. They don't have any control over thier movements at this age. If really worried see a doctor.

Can she take bub to the hospital - A & E? Otherwise maybe administer some baby panadol.
