My baby is 15 weeks old and I have noticed her watching me alot when I am eating. She always seems to be hungry so I got her some Farex (baby rice cereal) and she absolutely loves it. I know it says on the box that it isn't recommended for babies under 4 months but do you think a couple of weeks early will matter?

It all began when he was in his fourth week. Let me also tell you he was three weeks early. I go through a whole range of things to calm him. Like bath, message, walking withhim in the middle of the night. Singing, Talking, Cuddling! It seems he has to go through this cycle of fussing & crying every day. At first it used to be during the night, then the time shifted to early mornings and today it lasted the whole afternoon. Once the fussing begins it lasts for about 3-4 hours, in between he takes a break rather gets tired and dozes off, then something or the other triggers him. I know for a fact that there is gas, I hear his tummy rumble, and when he passes gas it seems to hurt him, and he winces. I breast feed and suppla, ment(Good Start Nestle). At night I try any one of them, it seems he gets worse when tring to suckle in those spells, he is unable to latch on because he is frustrated ... I am so tired and plus feel helpless and it tortures me mentally to see my darlingbaby suffer

My 13 month old son has never really been into solid foods. he is still breastfed, almost exclusively (no formula ever) as he never really wants solid foods. I'm trying not to force him but I'm getting worried. He won't let me feed him from a spoon at all. he'll purse his lips tightly and shake his head back and forth or he'll hit the spoon away. He's growing well and is thriving but I worry about his iron stores. His Doctors appointment is in two weeks so I will also be addressing this with his pediatrician... but would just like to know if anyone else had a baby who took this long to want solids??? He'll feed himself on occasion (cheerio's, pasta, etc.) but most of the time he only plays with the food or throws it on the floor. Everyone is telling me to wean him but I'd like it to be gradual and child-led. Any advice? Thanks.

I want to really do a good job in finding a practical but unique gift. I have heard that getting a baby bath tub and filling it with the essentials are one of the favorites among new mom's. What should I include? I thought about doing the full bath tub but I really don't want to have a duplicate gift. (this gift being something that is recommended on a LOT of websites) The mom is having her first child and doesn't know the sex. I have a pretty strong feeling that most of the guests are going to be super excited about buying baby clothes (because lets face it, its so much fun) but I wanted to buy something practical and useful because in buying clothes you are guarateeing not much use because babies grow SOOO fast. She is due the first part of May. The shower is the 18th, any ideas?

My sister is having a girl and I am going to host her baby shower. I have never thrown one before and I have only be to one many years ago. I really have no idea what to do. I have been looking at different ideas and themes. I know that the theme for the baby's room is Winnie the Pooh. But I don't know where to start and what to plan for the party. I would appreciate any ideas for games, favors, ideas....anything at all will be greatly appreciated..

My 7 month old has been sleeping in her own bedroom since she was 2 months old. She has been in her own bed. She has been sleeping all night till this past week. She rolls onto her stomach now and is waking up. I don't really want her to go to bed with a bottle. Is it possible that she is going through a change? I haven't changed anything. What can I do now?

For example, the parents drop the baby off to daycare in the morning. During the day, the parents get into a horrible car crash and die. What happens to the baby if there are no other relatives? Is she sent to an orphanage?

I am needing ideas for things for a proud papa to hand out after the baby is born. Ideas like "It's a girl" cigars etc. Except I am trying to stay away from the traditional cigar, or bubble gum cigar theme due to the fact that he works with all men, and they all bring those to work anytime a baby is born.. Anyone have any new ideas?

I have a 6 1/2 month old. Every nurse/drs/books/CDs etc are advising of this and that, what not to do and what to do, when to do it and when not to do it. I've spoken to so many ppl prior to my baby's generation in regards to food. I myself was fed solids at 3-4 months, meat at 6 months, I am fine. I have absolutely no food allergy neither does my husband, my brothers, his brothers. So why is it now ppl are so obsessed with what to do with our newborns? Are we the reason why they are allergic to certain things now because we obsessed on what our drs/their ped tells us????

I just had a baby 6 1/2 weeks ago and am now going to get Mirena. Who out there has used it or is using it now? What do you think about it? Have you gotten pregnant while using it? What have been your side effects. If you can give me any other information about it that would be helpful.

Thanks in advance!
