My baby has been breast fed for almost 8mo now. We used a bottle with breast milk from time to time from about 3wks to 5mo and he did fine with it. We didn't use the bottle from 5mo till now and Now he won't take a bottle of breast milk or juice. (I didn't really want to start juice, but he's constipated).

I am going to Maui in April. My daughter is 6 months. There is a beach with no waves there but do you think she is to young to wade with me in the water?? I have seen a sling that is for taking babies in the water- anything else good out there like a floating saucer to push her around in or something??

You can only play board games and watch Sesame street for so long before you brain gets fried. Cleaning the house is the only other option and that gets boring doing that day after day.

I'd like the opinions from those of you who have this mattress... and have had it for at least a year. Do you find the expense worth it? How has it held up? Is it still comfortable? I purchased a KingsDown mattress (which was "supposed" to be great) and I'm on my second king size mattress in two years. Not only did it turn out to be uncomfortable, it sags (and I'm barely 135 lbs.).
I've tried the sleep number bed and liked it (in the store that is).
I posted my question here because I want answers from other sleep deprived moms (and maybe some dad's...) out there. I have a 19 month old and an 8 week old... and need some decent sleep (since I don't get much of it these days).

After my son's 1st bday (Feb. 25) he had to move up to a new room in his daycare. He left the infant room, getting a nap whenver he wanted, to the 1 year old room where he gets one nap a day. He seems so tired all of the time which makes him very fussy--and he is a usually HAPPY child! (He has to get up with me to go to daycare at 5 every morning---and his nap isnt until 12) How can I help him get use to this one nap. HELP! I hate seeing him so tired.

My daughter is 6 months, and very active. I find that when she is jumping in her jolly jumper, or trying to crawl, rocking on her hands and knees, or when she gets excited she breathes really heavy. She is not weezing or anything like that, and doesn't seem to be in any difficulty when she does this, but I just wanted to know is it normal, has anyone else experienced this with their children?

I am compiling a book of lullabies from different generations-like songs your grandma would sing to you. My grandma used to sing great lullabies! If you remember any, please send them this way! Thanks!!!

I saw one at Target that was a changing table and a crib in one plus it transitioned into a bed as the child gets older, and the changing table turns into a side table. I really liked it, but it was Target, and I've noticed their furniture doesn't last a long time, so I was wondering where I could find one like that but better quality... like somewhere in the $500 range. Thanks!!

And her birthday is in two days. I have tried to work with her, but she resists being put on all fours. Her father is getting testy about her progress. Is there anything we can do to help her along the way?

I don't want my baby to hang out in a wet diaper, but we go through diapers like crazy! He only pees a little bit sometimes and it doesnt even feel wet on the inside, but I feel bad about leaving him in a wet diaper. What would you do?
