Maybe get aversion therapy started early if he's a boy. No boy should refuse boobie! If it's a girl then don't worry.

don't make the same mistake I did. I introduced formula, then it was all my daughter would drink because it was easier for both of us. Now I totally regret it. I was super busy, and always out in public. If I could do it over again, I would make more of an effort. It started when a well meaning lady told me my baby was always hungry, even after feeding. So I started supplementing. Within a month, I was supplementing breastmilk with the formula, and by the time she was 5 months, I had stopped. I wish I would have just gone with my instincts and doctor who said she was fine. If I was in public, I wish I would have breastfed anyways.

It is reallyreally difficult, but if it is just for convenience, I would stop all formula. If there is another reason, completely ignore my rambling! :)

If you want to breastfeed then continue to offer her the breast. Your milk supply works on supply and demand, If baby doesn't nurse your milk will dry up. Since she has been introduced to a bottle she may have problems latching on initially. Sometimes using a breast pump can help too. You guys may benefit from a visit w/ a lactation consultant. Check the hospital where you gave birth or a local La Leche League.

Stop giving formula. It is easier for babies to get formula out of a bottle than milk out of a breast. Therefore, they become lazy in their latch-on and sucking. Stop giving bottles for awhile. Try again in a few weeks. Otherwise you'll be stuck just giving formula, and thats no good!! Keep up the breastfeeding mommy, and good luck!

your baby got confused when you introduce the formula.

Eventually, your baby will get really hungry and wants to eat.

I dont know if your trying to put your baby to formula. but it takes time to win a baby from breastfeeding.

But, remember every baby are different and unique. Other babies can win easily others don't but hang in there.
