My daughter is 6 months, and very active. I find that when she is jumping in her jolly jumper, or trying to crawl, rocking on her hands and knees, or when she gets excited she breathes really heavy. She is not weezing or anything like that, and doesn't seem to be in any difficulty when she does this, but I just wanted to know is it normal, has anyone else experienced this with their children?

My 9 month old sister was the same way she was always so hyper (she still is sometimes) she's already trying to hold on to tables and walk. She sometimes stands in the middle of the floor for a few seconds and then spins in circles for about ten minutes straight. So what you are experiencing is all normal. She's so crazy!!!!!!

yes, it is very normal. Your daughter is just very eager to crawl and become independent. Rocking on her hands and knees definately shows you that she is trying to crawl. If she does not crawl soon she will probably show frustration when she is on her hands and knees also. Hopefully this helps you. You have nothing to worry about. You should be very happy! You daughter is ahead of the game.

my daughter was the same way. they get excited and cant help them selves. they have there own way of showing there emotions. my daughter crawled backwards before crawling forward so all babies are different. also they know that you are paying attention and when you show a positive attitude to what they are doing they tend to just make noises. its normal. my daughter still does that when she laughs when she does something that she knows that i will be happy for.

This is a little normal. you should check with a doctor to make sure everything inside is doing okay. if he says it is, then I guess it is normal for her. But, keep an eye on her at all times, and get her checked 1 to 2 times every month. (Just to be on the safe side.) By inside, I mean her bones, and organs.

Yes, your baby seems normal to me! My 14 month old did that, and still does. They are really excited! If it really bothers you try bringing it up with her pediatrician! Hope I gave you some piece of mind! :)

Yes, it's normal. My girl does it too. Think about it when you get really excited don't you breath heavier? Everything is new and wonderful to her and she's finally oldenough to register it. Don;t worry and enjoy her.

Yup! Completely normal. My son is a year old and he still does this when he's really happy or excited. He even does it when he sees my mom! :)) Sometimes he crinkles his nose if he's particularly impressed.
