I am going to Maui in April. My daughter is 6 months. There is a beach with no waves there but do you think she is to young to wade with me in the water?? I have seen a sling that is for taking babies in the water- anything else good out there like a floating saucer to push her around in or something??

I lived on Maui for 6 years and have seen many people with babies at the beach. Some take their babies in the baby carrier, others hold them in their arms, but the majority of people with babies stay by the pool. There are no no-waves beaches on Maui, there are beaches where often the water is calm. Such beaches are on the north side if the island. Kaanapali and Wailea have good beaches. But no one can guarantee that there are not going to be any waves. I would advice you to stay in the shallows, holding your baby for a bit. Then give her to her dad to go to the pool while you swim in the ocean. You can take turns. But if you really want to take her to the water try looking at http://www.onestepahead.com they have a variety of products that would let a baby enjoy the water.
On another note, why go now? The weather is not going to be amazing this time around. It’s going to be hot and rainy. The whales are almost gone and the water can be rough. The best time is winter or late summer to be a tourist on Maui.

All the beaches we went to on Maui are pretty rough, just getting through the surf line an adult can get pounded pretty good. You'll be negotiating walking over rocks and reef areas, which can sometimes be a little tough. If it were me, I'd make sure my baby stayed attended on the beach, wearing lots of sunscreen where she can play in the sand. She can play in the water at the hotel pool! Safer and less likely that she'll be frightened by the water.
Enjoy your trip. We loved Maui!

superb information for the Couple.i think of they'll stay secure with the call for no count if this is a woman or a boy sooner or later the youngster will replace into Queen Regent or King. The regulation has replaced those days to allow a woman if she is born first to alter into the Queen. Having suggested this i'd think of they'll p.c.. names from recent Kings and Queens, consequently George would be a contender for a boy.for a girl Elizabeth would desire to be primary because of the fact the Monarch holds that call as did her mom who became into Queen Consort to King George 6th( his authentic call became into Albert and he became into called Bertie by using his kinfolk. To end then,i'd recommend the names as the two George,Albert or Elizabeth or Mary( Queen Mary became into Queen Consort to King George 5th)

Just hold on tight! There are swim suits that have floaties built into the suits, they are wonderful. My mom got one for us before we went to mexico, my youngest was 7 months and she couldn't get enough of the ocean!
Have an amazing time, it is gorgeous there!

It should be fine for her to wade with you. You should just be careful not to get water in her ears, eyes and mouth. Better safe than sorry.
