All of the above plus: sunscreen for babies, a wet washcloth in a ziploc bag.

ALOT of diapers, receiving blankets, wipes, a bag for dirty clothes, extra clothes, alcohol swabs, a changing pad, gauze and vaseline if circumsized, thats about all if you are breastfeeding but if not you need some bottles and formula, or just put the formula in the bottle so all you have to do is add water.

I put all of the above that was written plus some nutrigrain bars for me or something similar. Some times as a new mom, you can get really dizzy especially if you are breastfeeding and still bleeding from the birth. oh, and I keep a spare set of key for the house and the car in the bag. I get scatterbrained and forget things, namely the key to the car...in the car! This has saved me many times from being locked out of the car

Diapers, wipes, infants Tylenol, bottles (if bottle feeding) extra pacifiers, extra change (or 2) of clothes is very important burp rags a few noisy/teething toys. Teething gel when he gets around 2-3 months just in case!!!
That should be about it.
You will size it down the older he gets too.

Congrats!

about 5 diapers, travel pack of wipes, couple of recieving blankets, changing pad, a couple of bottles already filled with water, formula, pacifier, toys, medicine (tylenol, motrin, teething, vaseline, etc.), definitely sacks to put soiled clothes and dirty diapers in, extra set of clothes.
I recommend keeping these items for just the bag because if you use them at home you may forget to put them back in the bag.

diapers, wipes, 2 changes of clothes, a hat, a toy, formula, bottles, hand sanitizer, wet ones wipes, a blanket, and any medications that he might need. Also put your stuff in it! That's what I do!
