My 4 year old son has decided our new baby boy is going to be called Carrus! Not sure where he got it from, probably made up in his head. Wondered what people thought of the name as I have never heard it before!!!

She is 8 weeks old and is really trying but keeps getting it wrong and throws a paddy i have tried a dummy but she wont have it. Any tips on what i can do to help her?

My daughter is 7 months loves storebought applesauce. So I wanted to make my own but want to make sure she was okay with the apple type we brought. So I ate one let her lick and suck on it and she loves the taste.

My husband saw me letting our daughter taste my apple is worried that it's too much sugar especially when you are supposed to dilute apple juice with toddlers so they don't rot their teeth. He's fine with storebrought apple sauce because he feels that the company must have done its research to ensure that sugar content is okay for babies.

We both prefer her to eat homemade stuff but I am worried about the sugar, Is he right?

PS, he's fine with fresh mangos and bananas, we are just wondering about apples

I do not need a drying rack, I have that. I either want an actual bottle organizer to store them in or any other suggestions you may have. I have limited cubbard space and I am trying to save some room while keeping it convienent.

We were going to buy a bassinet to put by our bed and have the baby sleep in it for the first few months, but then we thought it is almost cheaper and more functional to buy one of those pack and plays that comes with the bassinet attached in it. Is it okay to have my baby sleep in one of those for the first few months?

My son ( he will be 7 mnths the 23) has been sleeping a whole lot the last 2 days. But he does have a fever just goes back to sleep after a few hours. He normally just sleeps through the night and takes like two 20 min naps a day....is he okay?

My son will be going into daycare in May when I return to work. He'll be 6 1/2 months old. I would love any tips you can give me. Especially, how do you handle separation anxiety, I have it, not my baby. I have only been away from him for about a total of 4 hours since he was born in October. It breaks my heart to have to be away from him all day long. I have no choice but to return to work due to money and health insurance coverage.

How do you handle the fact that you might miss some of the important "firsts". Like first steps, first word.

Anyone still breastfeeding? Does it still work out to breastfeed at night and in the morning and then give formula during the day? What if I'm unable to pump during the day, will my milk dry up?

Does 4 babies to 1 adult seem high? There are only babies in the room, when they reach 12 months then they move on to the next room.

Any other day care advise or tips are welcome.

I want to know what people think of kids being breastfed after a year old and if they think something is wrong with women who do after or around the age of three. I seem to have some mixed thoughts in the whole thing. I was reading one of my parent mag's and it had a page where this mother was still breastfeeding her seven year old. I seem to think this is wrong how about you.
