There are things you can do. Try laying her on her stomach more. If she is healthy this will in courage her to be mobile and explore. She is probably content with laying on her back but to break this lay her on her stomach. The only other advise is time. Be patient. Studies have shown that kids that crawl late walk early. Kids that crawl early walk late.

each baby is different. My little boy didn't crawl until he was 13 months old and didn't walk until he was 19 months old. His vocabulary at 1 was 25 words in 2 word sentences. He was concentrating more on communication than phsyical activities. The father should contact the pediatrician to have her evaluated.
Good luck she will walk soon

Not really. Babies progress on their own. Some babies won't crawl till well around 8 months. Each baby is different. Just make sure tummy time is always there and it'll happen when she's ready!

Some babies never crawl. I babysat a little guy who rolled to get where he was going, then got up and walked! So do not fret, she is just probably going to do her own little thing! Babies cannot read the books they write on how they 'should' progress.......

Lots of the time, when you carry a baby around lots when she is little, she will not get any practice walking. Try to carry her around as little as possible, so she relies on herself to get from place to place. Don't worry, she'll walk/crawl eventually:)

I and my sister taught our baby brother to walk when he was 7 months old.
We simply lifted him up by his arms, placed his feet on the ground and waited until he stood upright. Over time he learned to stand as long as we held his hands. As soon as he could stand a little bit, we placed him to stand on top of our feet. Then we started to walk to teach him the movements. It was all play, he really liked the attention. He soon got the hang of walking, all he needed was our hands to keep him upright. (Not that we were far away.) Later he hang on to my sister's little doll buggy, pushing it around until he learned to walk without it.
He never learned to crawl, though he certainly got enough demonstration and aid from us on how to do it.
Lesson is: play around with your little sister alot. It exercises her muscles and gives her the necessary strenght to crawl or walk.
One of the things we did was to play "tshoo-tshoo train". We gently pulled one leg, then pushed it up while pulling the other long, than we switched. We made noises like a steam train, going faster and faster. Same with the arms. We also play-wrestled with his toys. (All was fair until he cried.) Later when he hit 3 we surely regretted that he was so strong, but hey that's life!

Did she talk early? They say "fast to talk slow to walk" and it is true! My son never did crawl he just got up and started walking one day...It was rather strange! My daughter was 13 months old before she ever did anything.....So it just all depends!
