I am going to PR from Detroit... I am traveling with my husband and my 6 months old baby... I breastfeed her and she would not take a bottle... I want to know any tips and if there are any regulations/law with moms...

My 2 month old son often sits and stare like he is in deep thought. At times, I will notice that he is smiling while in deep thought. I was just wondering.

I have a 16 month old daughter and on her 1 year birthday she had a seizure. The doctors said it was due to a very high fever. Well 3 months later to the day, she had another one with absolutly no reason why. The doctors did all kinds of blood work, CAT scans and everything and couldn't find a reason. Has anyone else had a problem like this with their child or themselves when they were younger? Is so, what causes these seizures and what can I do about them?

My son is seven months old and I am having him circumcised in two days...are there any suggestions on what to do after? Please don't say I should have gotten him done at birth...I know I should have but I couldn't afford it at the time and now that I can, I got him an appointment as soon as possible. Not having it done is NOT an option for me either. Someone told me to get tons of vaseline and baby tylenol, so I've done that but as I've never done this before, I need to know if anyone else has any suggestions... thanks in advance, to those offering advice (the good kind)

She is 7 wks old and until recently we had gotten comfortable with b/f. Last wk, l added oatmeal to my diet, ate more salad and beans, l noticed that she started fussing so much on the breast and when l sqeezed it to know if there was any milk, it would come out in sprays. She latches on but almost immediately pulls off crying . Today she is crying so much and wouldn't even stay on the breast. She is also breaking out in rash on her forehead. l have tried different elevated feeding positions l read but nothing seems to help. This is becoming so very frustrating.Pls. help

hi its my first pregnancy and i was just wondering what happend to u.? did u wait for a while befor cutting the cord ? dose it even matter?
here in egypt where i live they dont do cord blood banking.. so i was wondering if i should just wait a little and help the blood in the cord go down into baby befor cutting it.?
do u know whats right to do ... what did your doctor do..
i want to know to be sure my baby gets what he needs.. thank u all

more upfront about the chances of having a c-section when being induced. It seems that everyone that I talk to or hear about when they are induced have c-sections. It's probably about a ten to one chance if I take the ratio of stories that I've heard and experienced.

My baby is completely breast fed and has only used bottles minimally. We just started solid foods last month(which is going very well) and I'd like to start him using a sippy cup. Is it too early? If not how do I get him started using one. I'm not sure I want to start any juice yet, but I've tried putting breast milk in the cup and he seems so weirded out by it. Help.

I started back on birth control pills around 7 weeks after my son was born. I had a huge decrease in my milk supply (I'm breastfeeding / pumping). I stopped taking the pills after only 4 days and then I had my period. After my period my milk increased again. It's been 4 months now and I haven't had my period again. I'm still breastfeeding / pumping, but I also use some formula. I know that there's always a chance I could get pregnant but just how much of a chance.

I never have had a big appetite but have always been a healthy eater. I had no morning sickness the first trimester but had food adversions that kept my diet pretty limited. Now I eat and 30 minutes later I am hungry again! What has been your experience? I have only gained 3 pounds so I am thinking the baby is burning through the food I eat!

I've been breast feeding my month old son since he was born. When i first started using my breast pump I was able to get 3 oz out of one breast and at least 2 on the other. Now when I use the pump I'm lucky to get 1oz out of each breast. I'm using a Medela pump in style. My baby is nursing fine. Has the right if not more wet & dirty diapers than needed so I know its not me. I'm wondering if I'm just not able to use a breast pump at all. has anyone else had any problems like this?

I took my daughter in for her two week newborn well check today and the nurse measured her length to be 20 1/2 inches. She was 18.1 inches at birth....i didnt really put that much thought into it while at the doc but when i was telling my husband about how much she had grown i got to thinking more about it. two and a half inches in two weeks and 3 days is a lot....or is this just me. i just dont think that is possible....could the nurse have mis-measured my daughter?

My son will be 11 month old next week. The last few days he has been taking a 30-45 minute naps in the morning and afternoon... he used to sleep at least an hour-hour and a half at each nap. I'm wondering if this is a sign that he's ready to switch to one longer nap in the afternoon?

I need a quick and easy way to dry up my milk... any ideas or comments would be great. My boobs a very sore and extra swollen because I haven't nursed in a few days. I have a kidney infection and had to stop nursing as soon as I started my medicine. It isn't OK at all for the baby to have. But I am OK with giving up the nursing because he is way old enough to stop now. Thanks so much for the help.

she have a rash now for like 2 weeks , on her face and neck, behind her ears and elbows with yellow crust and it looks wet ,yellowish and sticky .
she is not fussy at all, very happy and eating well, i don't know what it may be, i breastfeed and do formula too.
