I am desperate, I have no clue how to write it. I have a three weeks old baby and I need to write affidavit of proof of his identity. Could somebody give me a link to a website or give me an example of what exactly their should be written? I am not american, English is my second language, so I am really having a hard time figuring those things out.

My friend has a one year old...Im just curious. She still counts the ounces with the formula.....and squeezing all the air out of the bottle. I thought maybe the baby was a little old for those types of bottles.....

I have a 4 month old little boy who smiles all the time but he still hasn't laughed out loud, at least not for me. His sitter says he has but I haven't heard anything yet. I can't wait for the moment that he giggles for the first time. Also, when I pick him up at the sitters I am expecting a big smile like he is happy to see me, but I hardly ever get one. It it starting to discourage me like maybe he doesn't care to see me? I know it sounds crazy, but I was just wondering if anyone else out there ever felt the same way? I feel like he likes is babysitter more than he likes me!

Yes, I know babies spit up, it's what they do. But my Son spits up 5-6 times every hour and some of the time it's clear. We have tried every bottle under the sun, burp him every 1-2 ozs and he's on Nestle goodstart. the only thing we havn't tried is putting cereal in his bottle, some people have told me it helps with the spit up. I just need a way to help my baby, he cries everytime he spits up and he has bad gas, the Mylicon drops don't help. Does the cereal work, or what would you recommened I try? And, yes I 've been to his Dr...they say not to worry about it but I can't help but to worry.

What can I do about a friend's 3 year old daughter who seems to have jealousy issues about my 4 week old son? The last 2-3 times this friend and her daughter has come over to the house she gets very jealous of my son and starts acting like a baby when she comes over. My friend and my boyfriend seem to think it rather cute and won't do anything about it. So the entire time she is at my house I not only take care of my son but I have to keep an eye on her cause she takes my son's bottles off the table or counter and puts them in her mouth along with his pacifer, sets in his carseat, etc. It is very annoying and I don't feel I should be the one to be mean and try to make her behave. Anyone got any ideas on what I can do to solve this problem with out being the bad guy?

Who's opinion do you support:
Woman A - whenever she takes a bath she takes it with her 5 month old in a full size tub.
Woman B - She never allows her 5 month old into the tub with her. Her child is always bathed in an infant bath.

Assume at 1 yr of age this is still what they are doing.

My 11 month old daughter has an ingrown toenail that I'm pretty sure is infected now my husband noticed tonight when clipping her nails. I'm always careful to cut her nails straight across to prevent this and it still has happened somehow. Should I take her to the doctor? Or does anyone have experience with this and can recommend home treatment? I feel like I should take her in tomorrow because the office is closed right now but I want to take her in to see if they can do something to fix it or atleast take her pain away. The only thing I can give her is tylenol and motrin anyone else ever dealt with this?

I asked a question yesterday for advice on what to do for my seven month old son once he gets circumcised tomorrow. I had an overwhelming response of negative feeback. First of all, I live in Canada... for the surgery, the doctor administers a local anisthetic (can't spell that) so its painless. As for adults having it done and losing their sexual feelings and all, my son is seven months old, so thats not a problem for me. My husband is done, and believe me, we have no problems! With the arguement that the reason childre have problems now is because of doctors forcefully retracting the heads of bbies penises, you sir, are more incorrect than you can imagine. The apparent rule of thumb here is to NOT pull it back at all. You know what happens with that idea? The foreskin grows over to the point where the boys cannot even pee properly because the foreskin is covering the penile opening. I know this for a fact as my step son had to be done at 5 years old.

Hi, I have been trying to pick a name for my next baby.
My son is 2 years old and his name is Xavier Michael.
I am thinking of naming the next baby Christen Sammual. The problem is Christen keeps coming up as a girls name. Can it be used for a boy. My name is Christopher (i am a girl). My husbands name is Stephen. That is why I want to spell it CHRIS TEN. Is the name stupid for a boy. Also christen is a word that means to bless. Is the name Christen pronounced differently Chris-ten?

Hi, my 3.5 week old infant is now feeding every 1.5 to 2 hours of breastmilk out of the bottle. Up to about 3 days ago, she was eating the same amount every 3 hours. I thought that here feedings are supposed to get further apart as she got older, but they are getting closer together. I'm worried that we are overfeeding her! Is this normal? is she in a growth spurt? please advise...thanx in advance...

I found out two weeks after my son was born that I wasn't producing enough milk, therefore, he was starving and we didn't even know it. I wanted to breastfeed so badly, but had to switch immediately to formula. I was just wondering, for others who have experienced this, will my second go at it produce the same results? Should I just go immediately to the formula, I don't want this baby to starve. Of course I'll talk to my doc about it, but since I'm curious now, I thought I'd ask you guys!

What is your personal experience or opinion about using a small dab of alcohol (like Vodka or Scotch) on a q-tip for a teething baby's gums? I know some people will be adamantly against it and others will swear by it, but what are your reasons? Do you believe it is harmful or is a drop on a q-tip more beneficial for pain relief than it is harmful? Has it worked for your babies?

I can get her to sleep but the last couple of days her naps were too short. She's up in the morning around 7am and her first nap is around 9 or 9:30. Then her second nap at around 2:00. Then she's down for the night around 8:00. She wakes up now once or twice only for her pacifier. The last couple of day her naps during the day have only been for 30 min or so. I know that her daytime naps should be 1hr to 1hr 1/2. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm no longer rocking her to sleep nor am I using breastfeeding to get her to sleep. We're trying to teach her to fall asleep and stay asleep in her crip.

I live in West Virginia. My son was born 3 months ago, and I have his social security card, but I do not have a birth certificate for him. How do I get it?

Also, how much money would it cost to change his middle name? And would I need the birth certificate in order to do that, or could I just use the social security card?

Any information would be helpful!!
