no its actually for my skin.. ive talked to a few people that do it and heard good results so thought i might try

Yes you can, and even if there was some on your nipples, baking soda is one of the key ingredients for gripe water, which you can give to infants.

Also, for others, baking soda is usually used for itching/rashes. It's also great for preventing diaper rash as it neutrilizes the acidity of the urine.

vinegar is actually often used to "erase" odors and is a highly effective cleanser - used in the washing machine is awesome. Not too much - always dilute with appropriate amounts of water. Good God these people that run to Doctors for everything. Look it up a bit, vinegar has been used for centuries for so many used without negative effects. Highly effective for getting glasses sparkling clean also when you have hard water, run it through your dish water to help eliminate hard water build up, actually softens skin, helps get rid of itching and some drink it to get rid of heart burn. It's used in all sorts of food preparation also...

Since you eat baking soda in food while you are nursing, I cannot concieve that there could be any problem.

Is it for a yeast infection?
