my daughter had the same issue when she was born, they put her on 2 medications and they seemed to help control it better. hers went away when she was close to a year old. things that i found made it better were: when he is done with his feedings put him in an upright position and let him sit that way for at least a half hour after a feeding. did your doctor put him on a special formula? there are special formulas that are for babies with acid reflux that help control it. with a formual change and the medicine it should disapear very quickly. good luck with everything!

my dr told me it usually goes away or very mild by the time they are 6-8 months. my baby is 9 1/2 months old had really bad reflux when he was little, he still spits up but not nearly as bad. also he does better on solid foods than formula. also you should start feeding your baby solids yet, it is recommended to wait till 6 months

slow down on feeding and a few smaller meals is better for digestion than 3 large ones.
only feed what would be equivalent to what looks to be a fist size portion at a time.

my grandchildren had the same problem. and this cured it. i mean , they are babies and they do spit up, but a whole lot less came out.

My younger brother had this. It's very scary but it does go away. Usually it goes away around or before their first birthday, but be aware it can come back at an older age.

Usually by around their 1st birthday they outgrow it. You might have better luck when he starts solids - he'll be upright for a longer period of time. (Hold off another 5-6 weeks before you start the solids though.)
