First male child born to a couple by c- section was g6pd deficient,.Whether they should try for a second baby?
Their first baby was diagnosed as g6pd deficient when he sufferred neonatal jaundice within 24 hrs. of birth.His blood exchange transfusion was performed.That baby is a 10 yrs old child now and doing fine.The couple wishes another child but is not being able to decide if they should try for a second baby for the fear of going through that same trauma again. And also for the fear, what if something worse happens,say like bilirubin going to the brain or something fatal.....

Anyone ever bought the Munchkin bottle warmer, do you experience the brown, burnt-like residue that it leaves behind after heating each bottle? Also do you experience a burnt smell as well?

I've emailed the company but no replies still, I'm trying to figure out if mine is defective so I can go back to Target and exchange it...please share, thanks!

My 2 month old baby is not getting satisfied from her formula. She is always wanting a bottle. I only give her 4 ounces at a time. Is that the right amount? She cries until she gets another bottle then she is fine for a little bit and ready to eat again. I don't get any rest at night from her wanting to eat all the time. Any one have any ideas on what I can do.

My baby will be turning 6 months at the end of this week and my dr. gave the ok to feed her at 6 months. How often and how much did you feed your child initially when starting to give your baby solids? I will ask my dr. at the 6 month visit but i just wanted to get an idea.

A friend had a baby at 28 weeks and he was kept 4 months at St. Mary's. While he was there they would occasionally tape a pacifier in his mouth (very little tape) and then they would walk away (around the wall to another part of the unit).
I was wondering if it is bad parenting to do the same thing if he is in a swing (propped upright) and I am sitting next to him on the couch (so I can constantly watch him without holding the pacifer in). He wants the pacifker, not a bottle, but keeps popping it out and then screaming because he wants it. And i am talking about scotch tape, not duct tape, which easily comes off, pain-free.
