I thought of naming a girl Sahara once. Is that too gypsy or hippy? I thought of naming a girl Pennelope Candace, so I could call her Penny Candy...LOL!

Penny Candy because she is sweet, and it would be cute to call her that when she is in her forties.

Moonbeam, Sunshine, what's that olypmic skier's name???.........oh, yeah, Picabo Street (pronounced PEEK-uh- boo) 1994 silver medalist for the downhill ski.

Ever since that year, I always thought Picabo would be a nice name.

Moon Unit - just kidding! Zappa's kids' already got that one.

Just keep in mind that just because you think it's adorable doesn't mean your baby will! The biggest question my husband and I asked ourselves was "What shall we name our baby so she DOESN'T get her a$$ kicked in the playground at school?"

We chose Fiona, it fit in with out Scottish heritage and it is somewhat unusual, although you have heard it before. She won't get her butt kicked for her name, but she will have something unique to call her own.

That being said, I like:

Romany Skye (Yes, I really did want to name my baby that!)
Caledonia
Dusty Rose
Sabre
