babies need water...not only because it's a basic human necessity...but also it helps to wash away the harmful particles the milk leaves behind the oral cavity. always let your baby drink water after feeding him/her with milk(all kinds of food for the matter)...

as for juice....as much as possible dont introduce juice to him/her or any other sweets...and dont add sugar to the baby's milk....because a baby doesnt know "what's sweet" and "what's not"...they dont need flavors. as much as possible dont introduce it to them.

advice: brush ur baby's teeth...even if there are no teeth yet...still brush the baby's gingiva(gums). you can buy "special" toothbrushes for babies. please take care of your baby's oral hygiene. even though baby's teeth are still temporary, and will soon be replaced....still, it's important to take good care of 'em because, baby teeth are for the preparation of the incoming permanent teeth. if they are removed too early or too late...there will be some minimal misalignment...which could later affect the child's facial esthetics. so take good care of your child's teeth. Give them water after every feeding(even candies---that's when the child grows up already). But NO TO SUGARS! God Bless!

You can give them cooled boiled water from an early age. Some health visitors say for the first 6 months you should only give them milk and others say you can give them water so it is best to check with your health visitor. If you live in a warm climate then it wouldn't harm your baby to give it some water to stop it from dehydrating. Just don't give it water straight from the tap.

As for juice, from about 6 months you can give them baby juice or a drop of fruit juice in their water (but only a drop for flavour) with their meals. To be honest if they enjoy water there is no need to add juice as it can damage their teeth when they come in.

All the best with your baby and I hope I have helped.

i does no longer supply any juice at 4 months. you need to introduce after 6 months, and certain truly make your human being. There are some go with businesses which have organic and organic, low sugar juices yet maximum manufacturers upload dissimilar fake crap. selfmade is continually more beneficial advantageous, exceptionally with infant food too. I completely breastfed for the first 6 months, then after that presented some solids (vegetables and end result) and little sips of water, no juice in any respect. At 9 months my infant nonetheless in trouble-free terms has water and breastmilk, no juice.

I started my daughter on juice at 4 months. Water sooner than that. There is always a reason for it - so don't just do it for the sake of doing it.

He was 12 months before he was really interested. I always buy unsweetened apple juice, and he just loves the stuff. He was well past 3 before he'd even think about drinking water.

you can give your baby water pretty early. I mean when they are eating milk that is just a food, they get thirsty too.

Juice, about four five months and when i did give it to my son i mixed it half with water because in my opinion they dont really need the sugar. hope this helps.
