my son, braedon wade, is 2 months old. i gave him the middle name "wade" because honestly, i was too loopy from just giving birth to really even think of anything else, and i didn't want him NOT to have a middle name. now i would like to change the middle name to Andrew. How would i go about doing this?

all you have to do is go down to the court house or city hall and request the name change for your son

fill out all the paper work and they should approve it

I went to a lawyer and she did the rest. It's not hard. After she did the paperwork, she set a day in court, we went before the judge and it was officially changed and a new "corrected" birth certificate was issued.

if you have the birth certificate just fill out the back completely and send it in. it is free the first time until hes a certain age. i had to switch the first and middle name that way

Seems like you'd want to keep the middle name and drop "Braedon". what is that??

You have to petition the courts...shouldn't be a problem to change it...just money.
