The last week he has been waking up every 2 hours. She will let him fuss but will not let him cry for extended periods which I agree with. I don't think babies should be allowed to cry for long periods of time without comforting. She is just confused why all of a sudden he is sleeping worse. He is a big baby weighing 17 lbs already but has also grown 5 inches longer. The doctor told her to start him on cereal and she gives it to him at bedtime. I read somewhere that some babies do better if they do not eat more at bedtime and I wonder if she should give him his cereal earlier in the evening and maybe just a few ounces of formula at bedtime. I also wonder if maybe he could be teething. Any one had the problem with your baby sleeping starting this change of sleep habits?

my son is on the sippy cup but around the afternoon he gets all cranky and wants nothing but his bottle. Do i just let him cry it out in his crib or do i give in and give him one. he is 1 and doesnt need it anymore. . he whines for like 45 minutes till he falls asleep for his nap. I know he's tired but he just wants that bottle.
i give him his bottle before bed time and thats the only one.

With everything Anna was experincing I'm surprised that noone is talking about Post Pardum Depression. Not Psychosis, where you want to hurt the baby, but depression, anxiety, sleep deprivation and inability to eat. In most of the pictures I've seen it us usually Howard K. Stern holding and feeding the baby. It also seemed unusual that Anna was found by herself without her young child. I also find her death very similar to Marilyn Monroe who she seemed to idolize. I hope she didn't want to follow in her foot steps. It is so sad that maybe this could have been prevented with the right intervention.

I had a baby 5 weeks premature, my milk never came in so I had to bottle feed. All the formula we tried made him throw up except Enfamil AR. (Which I suggested to the dr btw) He became constipated on it after a few days. He told me to use Karo syrup, which I did, it made him sick. So it didn't do anything for him, as far as pooping good. Last week he put him on Lactulose solution, he threw up for 2 days. He did go to the bathroom really good though. The dr says he probably has reflux. So now I have to call the dr back yet again, to tell him this med. has made him sick also. He has gained weight, and is still wetting his diapers so I know he isn't dehydrated, I am just frustrated with the Dr. Should I switch dr.s or what would you tell him??

I have a total of four girls. Youngest is 1-1/2mo old. I have breast fed all this time and would like some relief. She is permanently attached to my breast (feels like) and have other kids to tend to. As well as the house, animals, and cooking. Is it ok to throw in a bottle of formula maybe once or twice a day? Will this upset her tummy?

I feel that I always have to have my guard up with people, especially since I have kids. When they make a comment and if I just laugh it off or agree with them they continue to make comments or tell me what to do or how to do it. Not just with children but with what I should do with my finances or my home, etc. I feel like if I am a little bitchy yet nice and polite at the same time I get more respect from people and they don't try to step all over me. Does anyone else feel this way?
I almost feel like treat others how you want to be treated does not really apply to real life, the nicer you are the ruder people can get and more they try to take advantage of you. But if a person protects themselves by taking a stand from the beginning it seems to earn that person some respect. Do you know what I mean, am I making myself clear?
I'm no way saying I should walk around telling people off. I just mean not take anyone's crap by letting them know from the start.
