Not always, my first came at 40 weeks, my second came at 41 1/2 weeks, my third came at 42 weeks, and my forth came at 42 weeks.

I am waiting to see when my fifth comes I am now 31 weeks.

The baby will come when it's ready...but usually your DR will not let you go past 42 weeks. If your ready tell the DR your really uncomfortable and need to be induced.

that's actual that due dates are no longer a appropriate technological awareness....yet that's naive explanation for going previous 40 two wks. What if it erred on thelate area? Then 40 two weeks would relatively be 40 3. docs often understand what's happening, so pay interest. the dimensions of the toddler is probably going considered one of the main severe factors. little ones develop without postpone and one million week would reason a toddler to would ideally be waiting to be birthed vaginally to require c-section for transport. i grow to be each week late and my daughter scheduled induction at precisely 40 two weeks. i ended up having my son an afternoon earlier induction. My daughter grow to be 2 weeks late & had to be triggered. each thing grow to be superb. did no longer decide to be triggered through fact i do in comparison to taking drugs of any style. yet having a wholesome toddler, wholesome me & mushy transport justified the flexibility.

Both of my first boys came at 38 weeks and my 3rd at exactly 40. everyone is different. some have them tooo early, some women carry too long and they require to be induced. it all depends on the pregnancy. it really isnt based on the mother. maybe your pregnant with twins and will most likely not make it past 35 weeks.

My first baby came at 39 weeks 5 days. First babies can come anytime(just like any baby) but they generally say first babies come later than subsequent babies.
