My mother always said when a child is full will sleep. So if the is dry in the diaper and has a full belly there shouldn't be a problem. Play a lullaby for the baby like a wind up toy that plays music. Fisher Price has a thing for babies that has a soothing sound and lights so check in to it. My kids liked 2 listen to this relaxation thing i had that played the sound of a beating heart and they went 2 sleep all the time.

It tskes time for a baby to get into a routine. The only thing I can say is try and sleep when your baby sleeps. It is very hard to try and cope but they do eventually start to sleep. My son is only starting to sleep now and he is 4 months. Hang in there it won't be long now!

Richa is right. When they are first born they have to get a schedule of night and day down. He'll sleep when he gets really tired. But, it might take a while.
