curel worked well with my son. I use the one for sensitive skin and he's never had a problem with it. The baby oil, she may be allergic to, so I wouldnt try using it anymore.

Try Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Lotion... it comes in a white bottle and ranges from about $7 - $10 per bottle, but is soooo worth it! My son and I traveled north to an extremely cold/dry environment and he had dry patches EVERYWHERE on his body from head to toe. I tried every baby product out there and finally went for a more expensive lotion. I saw that and tried it... within 3 days of use at least once a day after a bath, his dry patches were gone! I put it on about twice a day for the first 2 days. Now I use it only once a day and it has been 4 months and he has yet to have a dry patch anywhere. He was 14 months when I started using it on him. It's a very sensitive/mild lotion. It's even gentle enough for use on the face, and I do. It works better than those expensive face creams out there. Try it... I assure you your baby's dry skin will heal.

Eucerin lotion use this after only patting her sking dry after a bath.

Don't use products that contain soap, Aveeno for babies does not contain soap (it still lathers up and does the trick but it just is gentle on skin), it contains oatmeal also which is good for dry skin. They have one kind called Soothing Relief Creamy Wash, it's great.

Also give baths often (everyday) because this is how the skin receives some of its moisture as long as you are not drying it out with a wash that contains soap. Then you pat dry because you want the skin to stay moist and then seal in the moisture with a good lotion like Eucerin.

It could be Eczema.
My son had the same problem. Dont use soaps like johnsons use natural stuff. Use only cotton material. Keep minimal sand contact like sand boxes etc. And maybe take her to a dermatologist. Hope this helps a little bit.

My 7 month old had a couple of dry patches of skin and his doctor told me to use Dove bar soap when I bath him....It worked wonders!! He also told me to put a cream moisturizer on him instead of a lotion...I use Vaseline Deep Moisture Creamy Formula and it works really well...

try aveeno for babies... they have oatmeal baths with sounds disgusting but it really helps... they have creams and lotions for ezcema... my mother used it when i was a baby.. and i still use the adult products now. They are sensitive but shows results... baby oil actually dries out the skin.
