this is my first pregnancy so i don't know much. But do every doctor check your HCG level in the beginning to see if they are doubling like its suppose to. thank you in advance

I hope you guys can help me. On february 11th started her period. We had sex like on the 15th or 16th. We broke up on March 1st. that was the last day I saw her. She was going out with her lesbian friend and couple of guys. I saw her with another guy. On March 21 st she went to my house to tell me she was pregnant. I couldn't believe it. She bought a pregnancy test and came up +. I was so happy when I saw the + sign, but at the same time i was full of doubt. Right know we are living together, but i don't know if a im the biological father. I wanted to do a DNA test, but she refused. She said if i do that she would dissapear.. I don't know what to do. My life is changing. I have to much stress.. I need help. LOVE.. Andres

There's a test that my doctor was telling me about that they can take blood and it can tell if the baby has any birth defects and if its developing how it should.. But what I need to know is if they take it out of your arm like a regular blood test or somewhere else..? Can you help me?

How soon can they tell what you are having? My sister was only 16 weeks and they could tell what it was but she didn't find out. Can they tell sooner if it's a boy because of the bits that stick out?

I start my period on Dec. 26th so if I am pregnant it is very early, at least less than a month. Is it alright to drink until I get a positive home preg. test? It's most likely I'm not and it's the holiday season. I will abstain if I have to but I'd like some responses. If anyone knows of a source that explains this I would love the link!

i had my blood results today, im 5w 5d and my hcg was 7654 and my prog was 8.64
im very nervousbecause i hada miscarriage before do someone knows if my prog is to low and if this is goin to cause that my hcg levels dont increase how should.

I am 38 wks preg and have had plently of complications. I have an incompetent cervix and have lost 2 children due to it. This pregnancy I got a cercloge and have made it near to the end. It was removed on Tuesday and now Im in hurry up and wait mode. I am having few contractions, light cramping and the baby is moving less and at different times than usual. Im trying everything now to speed up labor (walking, sex, hot baths etc), what else can I do and how long have other people waited till labor?

My mothers names is Lynette Eileen and my husbands mothers name is Janet Carmel. I don't like any of the names so I thought about combining them and came up with "Carlene/Carleen" but I cant think of a first or second name to go with it. Also we have a few Car names in the family (Carah, Carla, Kayla etc) So I wondered if anyone else had other combinations of these names that might sound good.
Any names are fine, even funny or silly ones, as I'm not pregnant yet just trying lol

I recently found out I was pregnant to my boyfriend of only 6 months, although I do love him he is not exactly father material. His first reaction to the news was that I should get an abortion, after we talked more about it he did a complete U-turn and now wants to keep the baby.

He is 30, is out of work and still lives with his mum and dad, I have my own house and work full time. He's got a bit lazy and used to not working and doesnt want to get a job, im not sure I can see a future with him not workng and still living at home, whilst I have a baby and go out to work. I have mentioned this to him and he can't see my point atall. Id rather bring up a baby alone than with someone who simply wants the easy life sitting around doing nothing all day. Im really not sure what to do, I could not go through with an abortion but I dont want to be left to do this myself.

My son has problems pooping and during a good week either goes once a day or every other day. Is this not enough? I can't imagine him pooping that much. Every once and a while after he's been constipated for a while he will 2-3 times, but not regularly.

I'm 14, and I just found out I'm pregnant. My father shot himself in the head last month, My mom hates me so when I found out I was pregnant I ran away to my friends house. I am pregnant with my second child (a girl), and my son will be 2 when she is born. I was originally planning on quiting my job and staying home with both kids. My boss informed me today that he is going to nearly double my salary, and I'm sure it's because he wants me to come back after I have my daughter.

Right now, my dad (who is retired) watches my son while my husband and I are at work. He loves doing it and it's free! However, he just turned 60 and he has said that he is just not physically capable of watching a 2 year old and new born. My mother says it would really break his heart if he was not able to watch my son any longer. She suggests I find daycare (I would probably hire a nanny) for my daughter and continue to let my dad watch my son assuming I go back to work.

What do you guys think about seperating my kids? I am so torn, I really need some advice!

We're pregnant with 2 little girls. We both love the name Alana but we can't seem to pick a middle name!

We'd like to honor our mothers with the girls' middle names. My mother is Brenda Jo. And his mother's is Kathleen.

We've thought about using Ava Kathleen and Alana_____? Any suggestions? Any other names that could go nicely with Alana?

Why is this? If i take something from him... or anyone makes him mad..... he screams at the top of his lungs and stiffens up his body.. he has a very bad temper. Anything i can do for this????
