his carrier and watch me. Is this a problem? Do you think that he will start to like his carrier better then his crib? It does take him a long time to put him down for a nap. Also he doesn't nap so often. usually he just takes 2 45 min naps a day but is really cranky and wo't sleep more then that. Help!

I breastfeed my newborn son.. 3.5 months old now. He has started taking less time to eat.. it used to take him about 20 minutes to finish a feeding.. and now it only takes him about 5-6 minutes then he is full. I try offering it to him again, but he seems like he's done.. and doesn't show hunger signs. Is this normal or should I be concerned? Thanks.

Okay so I am about a week late on my cycle and only had spotting last month....I went to the hospital last night because I had some stomach cramps, first off they could not tell even tell me what was causing the cramps then I told them twice that I have never missed a cycle....well they took a urine sample and it came back negative but I know that if you are preggers it does not always show up in your urine so should I have some blood work done or trust that the urine test was correct? This is so fustrating...does anyone know what else could cause you to not have a cycle besides for (anorexia, obesity, stress, or PID)???? Please HELP!!!

OK...so my 2 year old was sick today and had to be kept home from daycare. I had parked infront of the glass doors in front of my 1 year olds daycare. Because everytime I bring my 2 year old to my 1 year olds daycare I get lectured and yelled at because they dont want my 2 year old touching anything at all I decided to leave him in the car today. I droped my 1 year old off which took maybe 2 minutes and the woman at the front desk had warned me that a woman who worked for the deputy sherriff had saw my son in the car and threatend to call the police if she ever saw me leave my son in the car again and that she had taken down my license plate number. My question is...in my situation was this wrong and does anyone know what the laws for florida are for leaving kids in a vehicle? I honestly dont think I have done anything wrong...people leave their kids in the car when they pay for gas and that seems to be ok...i dont think its any different that what I did. And its not like i do it often

We are looking at moving my son into a much more structured daycare. I have found one that I really like that I would put him in to in a heart beat....however, his current daycare's director (she's leaving, that's why we're moving him) has told us that the daycare we like flick's a child's ear to get their attention (like when they misbehave and the teacher is trying to discipline). I know that daycare facilities aren't allowed to discipline past timeout, but I just don't know about flicking someone's ear. Anyone heard of anything like this?

Electric blanket OR digital camera?

My SIL is 5 months pregnant. She mentioned that she wanted an electric blanket for Christmas, but I thought it would be nice to get her a digital camera. She doesn't even own a camera right now and I KNOW she'll definitely want one once the baby is here. So... as an expecting mom... which gift would YOU get the most use out of?

Hello all - my 14 year old has asked to attend a foo fighter concert with his friends. It is on a Friday; however, the area where it is located is a popular bar scene where they close the streets on friday and sat night for people going out. I was wondering if 1) he is old enough for the concert, and 2) what kind of ground rules if he does go (for example, i pick up and drop him off, etc). Thanks in advance!

Most people I know named Nicole are in their 20's or 30's. Do you think it would work for a new baby? I also like just Nikki for the first name, too.

She got her first one in September and now she woke up with one again today. I feel so bad for her and was wondering is there some natural remedy or even something OTC that would help her? I've been putting Carmex on it. Thanks for answers.

BTW she is almost 4 years old.

3 Other kids were sent home with lice. She was not because they only found a few nits. The nurse said to treat her like she has a full fledged infestation. How do I prevent her from getting them again. 2 of the kids are her close friends. Any tips on what to do? I looked thru her hair and pulled out 2 nits but they came out easily. I thought nits stick to the hair shafts like glue. These were about 2-3 inches from scalp.

Mothercare items not delivered!!!?
i have ordered some bits for my little girl for xmas, which according to mothercare was posted in 2 packages, one was sent by parcel force and one by parcel net. according to them one was delivered on the 5th and one on the 10th but i haven't recieved them. where i live it has been known for my parcels to be left on steps outside and outside other peoples doors. surely someone would have had to sign for it? what will happen?

Im panicking because i wont have hardly anything for her to open if they dont turn up in time.
