My mothers names is Lynette Eileen and my husbands mothers name is Janet Carmel. I don't like any of the names so I thought about combining them and came up with "Carlene/Carleen" but I cant think of a first or second name to go with it. Also we have a few Car names in the family (Carah, Carla, Kayla etc) So I wondered if anyone else had other combinations of these names that might sound good.
Any names are fine, even funny or silly ones, as I'm not pregnant yet just trying lol

We already have 2 boys they are Declan Jon and Jacob Dean.
If We have a 3rd boy we are thinking Toby/Tobey/Tobie But have not got the spelling or middle name to go with it yet.

I really like the idea of using Carleen as a middle name. It's pretty and sweet and I love that it combines the two grandma's names.
These names go with it:
Laurel Carleen
Emily Carleen
Abigail Carleen
Isabella Carleen
Sophia Carleen
Jessica Carleen
Ava Carleen
Jasmine Carleen
Julia Carleen
Nicole Carleen
Trinity Carleen
Riley Carleen
Good luck making that baby! What are you boy names?
ps
good luck making the baby!

Jilleen (Janet + Eileen)
Janette (Janet + Lynette)
Etta (the "et" sound from both Janet and Lynette)
Lina Jane (Lynette + Janet)
Eila Jane (Eileen + Janet)
Carmen Janette (Carmel + Eileen, Janet + Lynette)
Johanna Lynn (Dutch form of Janet + Lynette)
Carlene makes a great middle name for most first names, as it has the accent on the second syllable. What names do you like?
Sophia Carlene
Ava Carlene
Carlene Elizabeth
Carlene Janette

We did this when my cuz was born out Grannys name is Eilleen also and the name we ended up with was Eilla(it worked well for us our "momma Een" loved it)
Lynette Eileen
Janet Carmel
Ja-neel ( Leen backwards)
Melanie Lynne (mel from carmel and lynne from lynette)
you don't have to use it in the exact way twist and turn stuff ... maybe just use the letters to make a new name totaly.
JC -- Jasey
LE --Ellie
Hope this helped!

Eek, I wouldn't go that route. To be honest, 'combined' names often end up sounding just plain strange and not as pretty as the two original names to begin with. Lorraleen just honestly looks and sounds like a bit of a mess. Maybe you could use Lorraine as a middle name instead? Personally I feel like it'd be a bigger honor to use the name fully than try to combine it with another name. Or even use part of the name? Like Lora, Raine, etc. Aila would be a pretty variation of Aileen as well.

I think Lynelle is kind of pretty, another combination of those names. My middle name is Eileen and it's after my grandmother; I'm very proud of it!! =) Carlette and Janine are other combinations that could work. Carlene is very pretty too! =)

I think Carlee Janette would be really, really cute. That way you're combining their middle names with Carlee and their first names with Janette.
Carlee is such a sweet name for a girl :)
