Im not pregnant but i think my sister lost her baby but it says negative??

It would be positive. Usually for a few weeks after a miscarrige is complete, and sometimes for up to 6 weeks after. If she hasn't passed anything and it's coming up negative, there's a good chance it's not a miscarrige.

I'm confused. Her test says negative? Was she pregnant and now you think she lost the baby? Or has she never gotten a positive result?

If your sister had a miscarriage, she needs to see a doctor asap! if she doesn't then she can get very sick, and may end up sterile. I work in a hospital, and a woman didn't have a D&C after an incomplete miscarriage, and wound up getting VERY sick!
Pregnancy tests test for growth hormones, and if she miscarried, it probably would read negative.

Pregnancy test measures hormones; they decline slowly with death of baby.

when u miscarry your hcg levels decrease so maybe they decreased enough to where your test can't pick it up. hopefully i'm wrong.
