My daughter is 5 yrs old and every morning is a challenge to wake her up to go to school. I literally dress her asleep and try to tickle her to hopefully wake her up in a good mood, which is very rare. She refuses to wash her face or brush her teeth. Any suggestions??

My daughter will be four in january.
She goes to nursery everyday so has lots of friends, but i dont know these kids or their parents so i dont think i can invite them and even if i did i dont know that they would come.
We are planning on going to a soft play place, she has never had a party so i want this to be good. Any advice? what do you think?

I am due next monday. i havent had a bloody show, and i dont think i have had any contractions (this is my 1st so am unsure about a few things) but my bump keeps goin really hard. sometimes for a few minutes. it doest hurt and is not regular or anything, it is just uncomfortable. it is like a balloon being blown up inside my bump and then being let down again. does anyone know what this is, and how long -possibly- it might be until i go into labour????

I'm about 5 months and this is my 2nd child, I was told not to pick up my 2 year old or to do a lot of things that require bending down. Is there anything wrong with picking her up or lifting light loads of laundry or cleaning out the tub?

I got a football kicked very hard at my stomach to day at school it dinner time after that at 100pm the pains in my side and stomach got a lot worse and in the middle of my lesson from 100pm to 200pm I had to go to the toilet to be sick and there was a spots of blood in my sick and I don’t know what do and why there was there blood in my sick any ways.
PS if anyone has any ideas on how to tell my mam and dad plz let me know.

well my daughter will be induced TODAY at a diffrent hospital than my local area because of 2 congential heart defects, and ive been going to columbus ohio for my ultrasounds because of her condition, but my ob doctor calls me and says ive had no ultrasounds and that i need to see my doctor..... this is soo aggervating... what can i do about this... im being induced today so if anythings wrong its too late now... HELP

I want to have a baby.. i want to do it on my own. Is that being selfish? how important is it for a child to know their father.. im sure eventually he/she will want to know.. but until then.. is it selfish for me to want a child of my own? I am in my mid 20s.. Im straight..have my own place...my own home... and yes.. If your wondering if i have been thru some bad relationships in the past and if im jaded by them.. sure i am.. but i want to do this because i am compelled to.. and feel in my heart this is the right thing to do for me.. I am currently on Zantac 150 for some stomach problems, and I am also on Amoxicillen for an ear infection. Do these medications interfear with my YAZ BC?!?! And make it easier for me to get pregnant? I'm on my 4th week of YAZ and have been take Amox. for 2 weeks. And Zantac for 2 months...

We recently adopted a 5 year old girl from outside the US. We've no immediate family nearby, and felt that it would be nice if our daughter had "Godparents," although maybe not in the traditional sense. We chose 2 close friends - 2 individuals, not a couple.
The Godmother loves our little girl, and is very interested in her. She recently asked if I'd gotten a social security number for her. I said that we'd just applied (I needed to do so in order to enroll her on our health insurance plan). She then said she wants to open a bank account for our daughter, and needs the social security number.

Neither my husband nor I want to share our daughter's number with anyone. We also feel we should be the ones to open it for our daughter. Any suggestions on how we deal with Godmother, who takes things very personally? She has also bought several games for her for Christmas coming up, one of which I had wanted to give, as it was my own favorite game. Suggestions?

I'm seeing a lot of pimples develop on my face after I had sex with my husband who ejaculated in me during my most fertile time of the month.

The pimples are on nose (which I normally get) and on chin (which I hardly get this badly).

I usually don't get severe nose pimples until I'm a little under a week until my period, but this is coming 2 weeks before.

Also, every other day since the beginning of last week (my most fertile week in which we had sex twice during) I've been having mid to lower back aches everyother night (either after work. I work retail &do stock sometimes (not a lot of stock tough) or when I'm just laying on my couch).

It's not hurting right now, but everyother night is when my back it hurts.

My husband wants a child & I'm in the mood to where I believe "if the time comes, then it's ment to be..the good Lord will let us know when it's time". Basically, I'm ready for it whenever it happens.

So could I possibly pregnant? Other signs to look for?

For the past few weeks, my 19 month old has been waking up every hour or two (and not every night, but about 5 days a week). She whines or gives a few wails, moves around, and goes back to sleep. Sometimes she wakes up completely. She was always a great sleeper...I cannot figure out what went wrong. Can it be possible she is having alot of nightmares? Tonight I am going to feed her alot before she goes to bed...maybe it is hunger. Does anyone else's toddler do this?

My Boys Are 2 & 4.. Their Bedroom Is Very Small.. It Barely Fit A Toodler Bed & A Crib.. The 2 Year Old Has Outgrown The Crib, And The 4 Year Old Has Outgrown The Toddler Bed.. Do To Limited Space In Their Room I Thought About Bunkbeds But I Am Not Real Sure If This Would Be The Safest Way To Go.. Does Anyone Have Any Suggestions?? Ok so my son had his orientation today for JK, he wasn't allowed to start in September because of a hearing and speech delay.(he was approved to go for half days, rather than full days like the other kids) Well his school is over 1km from our home and i don't drive and my son had a very terrible time walking it today saying he was tired and he couldn't do it. I'm 6months pregnant and carrying him isn't always gonna be an option. I shouldn't have been doing it today.
My hubby works so he can't drive us and most of my neighbours work so they can't drive us either.
Should i just force him to walk it? He even layed down on the ground and said he was tired and his legs hurt.
I would take his stroller but i don't want the other kids to think he is a baby and laugh at him and i really don't wanna push a stroller around for 2hrs until he gets out of school.
Does anyone have any suggestions? or should i just force him to walk it and no he doesn't have a bike or scooter or anything.
Help!!
