Bree/ Bre is actually a form of Bríghe which is derived Bríghid (pronounced Breed)
Names I know that are likely to become shortened to Bree at some point are Brea, Breana, Breann(e) , Breanna, Breena , Breonna.

As far as I can tell, Bree is an actual name.
If your sister-in-law wants to call the child Bree, she should
give her that name. Why make things complicated if you
don't have to.

First of all Bree is a type of cheese not bread so if you're going to make fun of something at least do it right.
But I think it's cute and I like Aubrey.

Sabrina, Gabriella...kinda unorthodox as most people are looking for Bree at the beginning, but hey, it works...
