Pregnancy & Parenting - 26 November 2007

I took two hpt's last Monday, both were dark positive lines...Tuesday I took another with first morning urine and it was really positive as well. Well, my mom works at a family practice doctor and took a specimen on Wednesday morning and it was positive too. My question...Is there something wrong, because I haven't experienced any "morning sickness". I am guessing that I am about 6 weeks preggo, because my LMP was October 14th. Any advice would be helpful. Also, I have my first OB/GYN appointment on Dec. 5th.

We had our first baby through scissarian and as a common point of view if one gets her first baby through scissarian on the next baby she "have to" go thourgh the same procedure of scissarian. Now we are expecting our new baby but we are really affraid of going through that same procedure please help us out of this. Thanks

Hi, I'm currently under acupuncture treatment for fertility, last Saturday I went for a treatment and before the session the doctor felt my heart bit on my pulse and she said that my heart pulse was just like if I'm pregnant or if I'm almost getting my period, no period has arrived so she suggested to have the test this week sometime, I havent done the test yet.. I will wait till the end of the week..
Does the heart bit change when you fall pregnant? Even at very early stage?
Please only serious answer!

I am considering putting my kids in daycare and have no idea where to begin the selection process. I know a few things I want to know such as how many children to each person, what policies do they have concerning parent visits. but I would like some opinions from moms and dads that have children in daycare. What questions did you ask in your selection process and did you visit the daycare first. If you did, what types of things did you look for?

I know this sounds silly because I am the parent, but I really just want some other opinions so that I don't ask to see the daycare and the people look at me like I am a pyscho or something.


Btw my kids that are going in daycare are 2 years and the other one is 6 months.

he gets an allowance and i told him he would have to do more around the house to get more money or help out on dairy farm and he is willing. i know they wouldn't let him have that much on it to begin with ,,big quistion is would they allow him one , by the way he is very responcable.

What are somethings I can do to make my blood more oxygen rich while pregnant??

The doctors tell you to walk while your pregnant because it makes your blood more oxygen rich,therefore giving the baby more oxygen.....What are some other things I can do that will give the baby more oxyen??

Would you suggest that i be a surrgogate mother for a couple who cant have a baby? I want to be a gastational surrogate...(the baby doesnt have any biologliocal ties to me. the Egg has already been fertilized by the parents and all i have to do is carry the baby....?

Ok I heard that its best to take the test when you wake up in the morning, but I don't go to sleep until 6am. So should I take it when I wake up around 4pm? Is it the first time you pee or does it really have to be in the morning? Sorry if this question is stupid but Id really like to know lol.

all your answers are really helpfull thank you i should have explained properly its not that i dont intend to travell without a car seat its just that i dont drive and wondered if the same rules applied on public transport buses and such i would never put my baby in danger and just wanted to know if the same rules applied if not travelling by car!

Hey all. I'm just wondering from those who have "been there done that" which is easier to heal from - a c-section or a bad vaginal tear. With my first baby, I tore really, really bad (it took half an hour to stitch me up), I couldn't sit down for a whole month (either had to lay down, half way lay down, or stand) and it took almost a year to heal and even now (2 years later) I still have pain in the scar area at times to the point where my husband and I can't do anything so to speak. I'm just wondering what your experiences with c-sections were - most of my friends have had c-sections and they were back to normal within 2 to 4 weeks. I think that I'd rather have an abdominal incision than another really bad vaginal tear, and I'm afraid that I'll tear worse this time around (I'm 6 months pregnant with baby #2). Any experiences / advice, would definitely be welcome! Thanks in advance and God bless!

m sorry guys ill just be frank . . me and my girlfriend had unprotected sex on November 18 and 25 and i didnt withdraw . . i came inside her . . She started her period November 8 and ended November 11 . . how many percent is the chances that i got her pregnant?
