Hi, I'm currently under acupuncture treatment for fertility, last Saturday I went for a treatment and before the session the doctor felt my heart bit on my pulse and she said that my heart pulse was just like if I'm pregnant or if I'm almost getting my period, no period has arrived so she suggested to have the test this week sometime, I havent done the test yet.. I will wait till the end of the week..
Does the heart bit change when you fall pregnant? Even at very early stage?
Please only serious answer!

Thanks!

How can he know what your heart rate will be when you're pregnant if he doesn't know your normal resting heart rate?

Yes, your heart rate will go up but there's no way to tell what is "up" for you if you don't know what the normal range is.

I wouldn't take him seriously.

Your heart rate does not necessarily change during pregnancy. When you become pregnant your blood volume does increase (thus the sudden weight gain and breast tenderness)This can cause your heart to "work" harder but that does not increase the heart rate. This is by no means a definite sign of being pregnant. The only sure way is to see your doctor.

Of course honey! You have a heartbeat don't you? The only difference is the baby heartbeat is faster even at a early stage. That is common sense.
