For the past week I haven't been able to keep anything down. Not even water and saltines. The throwing up comes along with sharp belly pains. I have been to the hospital twice... and they tell me I am fine and that basically there is no reason for my pain. I am not making this up... I am very sick!!! Is there any suggestions about what I can do to help alleviate this problem??? Any thing special that I can eat, drink, or take? Serious responses only please. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

We dont know if its a boy or a girl though!! We live in a beautiful seaside town so we would like the name to reflect that... like ocean or sand etc. all suggestions would be great cheers!!

Yesterday, my 14-year old sent me a text message, asking if she and her friend could trim my youngest daughter's (5 yrs) bangs. I texted back: TRIM only. DO NOT cut her hair.

Now, a little history, this summer she and her friend cut their own hair, my middle daughter's and youngest daughter's hair. Cut it SHORT. It has taken months for my middle daughter's hair to reach the top of her shoulders.

I came home, and my middle daughter (7 yrs) is in tears because they cut her hair and are calling her coconut head. I think it was supposed to be the short in the back, tapering longer to the face, but they cut WAY too much off. I'm going to have to take her somewhere for it to be fixed the best they can.

Anyway, I decided that for her punishment (the 14 year old), I was going to have her hair cut the exact same way.

My mother says too harsh? What do you think?

I have a very angry little 6 yr old boy, i think it may be due to me leaving his father, but the relationship wasnt good. I knew i had to leave for the bst interest of our children. He saw alot of things that he shouldnt have, and there ws alot of bad influence at times. After leaving my husband, my two boys and i were forced to live in a shelter until we found a secure apt. Since then his father has been put in jail, will be geting out soon. My 6 yr old talks to him on the one 1xper week and is aware that he will be out soon.
The anger comes from him when i discipline him, he yells back at me, or tells me he hates me and hates our house (our new apt.) He has dificulty getting along with other children, always tries bullying them, wants to be superior. When attention is shown elsewhere, he hs a behavior.He is mean to his 4 yr old brother, and gets so angry he throws, kicks,&punches. also, fears being alone, whether dark or not, always uses fear as excuse to not do things.

the situation is a little tough. You see she is at her fathers for the weekend and she gets stressed out easily and ends up with stomach aches. So this is my situation... her father lives about 30 miles away and I can go pick her up for a few hours to talk and do whatever but with the price of gas (3.49 gallon in CT) I can't afford to bring her all the way back home and its about 22 degrees outside so a local park is out of the question. What else can we do because she has already eaten lunch so that out of the question as well.

I am 29 weeks and 4 days today.... I had real bad contractions last night, nothing bad enough to send me to the er. Tonight is the full moon, everyone keeps telling me
he'll come tonight". Does anyone know that if its really true the moon cycle has anything to do with women and labor? I've heard this all my life, just haven't really given it thought.
P.S Nothing rude please, I just wanted other people thoughts and facts if they have any.

My Daughter is 27 months old. I've showed her how to use the potty and showed her how fun .. And She is SO scared of it. EVERYTHINGS "NO" .. Even talkin to her. Am i doing something wrong? She has a small potty and one that you set on the real toliet. She is also So Mean sometimes what could that be from ? besides from her being two LOL .. Any GOOD Parenting advise?

I have chronic back pain and it hurts me pretty bad to give my kids (currently ages 3, 4, and 5) a bath. I'm a stay at home mom right now. Even though my husband works long hours, I still expect him to bathe the kids instead of me most of the time because of how it affects me. Is this unrealistic?

So i just found out i was pregnant and before that i was a pot head.Now that i can't smoke pot i feel bored and angry.I keep yelling at my boyfriend because he smokes pot and drinks in front of me all the time.what exactly do pregnant women do for fun? and this is a serious question.I am trying to take my mind off smoking weed and replacing it with something else to do.

I am 37 weeks pregnant with my first baby. Thursday night I was having really bad pains in my abdomen and some contracting. Yesterday my back hurt all day long. It wasn't just my lower back though.. It was more lower to mid back pain. Then the contractions started up again. I am trying to keep track of them but in between the contractions I am having period like cramping that hurts so bad that I end up tightening my stomach up myself. I hve an appointment on Monday that I am trying to hold out for. I don't really care to sit in the hospital for 5 hours just to be sent home again. Any ideas if this is labor? I have been about 50% effaced for a month now. Not sure if I am dilated. Will find out Monday,

My husband is dead set on the name Faith Angelina. I love the name Faith and he loves the name Angelina as he is Italian and he wants our daughter to remember her Italian heritage. However, our last name begins with a "G" so her initials will spell F.A.G. Is that just so terrible or do you think it is okay? I have been getting mixed answers from everyone I know. i already have a 6 month old daughter and i had an aboron 6 weeks ago.so i basically got pregnant within a few days of having the abortion and i have been for a scan because hey wanted to see if the aborion i had actually worked and it did so they have confirmed tht this is a new pregnancy. we have deceied that we are going to keep it but now im not so sure what i want i dont think i could go through another abortion but with my daughter i had a really difficult pregnany and was on crutches for the last month or so and a few months ago i was diagnosed with post natal deppresion and i really dont feel as if i would cope very well with 2 kids. i am 19. anyone got any good advice?

ok i went into the ob and got checked wed. 3 centmeters dialted and 30 percent ephaced. no contractions sent me home. 2 hours later at the hospital i was contracting every 2mins. no change in cervix they gave me fluids to stop them. they stoped. yesterday went in cuz it hought i was having contractions cuz i los my mucus plug the mornign after first hospital visit and they said still 3 centmeters dialted but i am 60-70 percent ephaced. what does this mean ladies i want to have him so bad i am so uncomfortable how muc longer? and what does ephacment and stuff mean if i am not dialting?

My family came to my house for Thanksgiving. And my little cousin came too. She is 12 and on Wednesday night my mom asked me to go to the store and pick up some more milk for her. Well I asked my cousin if she wanted to go with me and she was like Ummm and then her mom was like yeah go with her. The reason why she didn’t want to go with me was because her parents still make her sit in a booster seat and her mom actually took the booster seat out of her car and put it in mine. My cousin was really embarrassed and then when we left she was like I’m tired of being treated like a baby. She told me that her parents still make her sit in a booster seat in the car, and she always says she doesn’t want to sit in it and her parents tell her that she safest in it and I guess they just won’t listen to her. I guess parents know best and I guess my cousin isn’t really that big yet, shes like 4 foot 7 and 70 pounds…she hasn’t really hit her growth spurt yet. And then she started to complain about her bedtime…which is 8:30! I don’t think its that bad! I don’t really remember what time I went to bed when I was that age but it was probably around 9 o clock. Anyways, What do u guys think. Isn’t there a law about booster seats and u have to be in them until u r a certain height??? I really don’t think its that bad and I think my cousin should just listen to her parents for now.

Hi all, I am 4 weeks pregnant and I have a couple of questions. I am very concerned about my babies health and I want it to be healthy and have nothing wrong with it.

I have been super stressed out the past week because my 5 year old son doesn't listen very well and he is making it very hard on me. I have heard that stress can damage an unborn baby.

I also smoke cigarettes but I am really trying to quit. I did smoke 1 pack a day and over the past few days I have cut down to 1/2 pack a day, and I'm hoping to quit entirely before too long.

So my questions are: do you think my baby will be ok? I know this is the most critical part of the pregnancy when they are delevoping their organs and stuff.

I am trying to relax as much as possible and I'm cutting back on smoking, so do you think if I don't stress out anymore and cut back on cigarettes as much as I can, do you think from now on out my pregnancy will be ok and I will have a healthy baby?

OK. This is a little embarrassing but, my husband and I had intercourse the other night and when I went to the restroom some of the "stuff" rubbed off of me and onto the toilet seat. Being that we were at his parents house for the holidays and there were other women in the house, I immediately got paranoid (since I am 33 weeks pregnant and I worry about the silliest things all the time) that one of them would use the bathroom and get pregnant (probably a one in a million chance of that happening though). So I wiped it up, then wiped the toilet seat with water, dried it, wiped it with water again, dried it, then wiped it with hot soapy water and dried it. Still not satisfied, I sprayed some Lysol with bleach on it, wiped that up, and wiped it with water and dried it again. I felt satisfied at that point.

I guess my question is, did I successful remove/kill any sperm on the seat?
