Also:
For a girl, Sandra means sand
And for a boy, Mar means Sea
These might work nicely.

Well, arena is sand and oceano is ocean and mar is sea. But that's literal.

Aramoana (Female, not spanish, but kinda sounds like it. Means 'pathway to the ocean')
Seaton (Male, not spanish, means Town by the sea)
Delmar (both male and female, are spanish, means of the sea)
Dalmer (Male, spanish, means of the sea)

That's all I got right now. Just dosome searching around. I'm sure you'll find something you both love.

"Mar" is Spanish for "Sea" ... you may choose a name that starts with that if you don't want to just name it "Mar" like "Mari" or "Maribel" or "Marisol" or "Marta" or "Marina" (which means "From the Sea" or "Of the Sea") if it's a girl. "Marea" means "sea tide" and could just look like a hip spelling of the old Spanish standby "Maria." "Marea" could also b a masculine name. It's pronounced "marr-Eh-ah."

"Arena" is Spanish for "Sand." May not be good to use since it looks like "Arena" (as in a sporting arena) in English.

"Gaviota" means "Seagull." Not very pretty, but very unique and can be a boy's name ... although I'd advise to keep it as a middle name ... seagulls are very messy birds!

"Concha" means seashell.

"Brisa" is Spanish for "Breeze." "Brisa Mar" is "Sea Breeze."

"Perla" is "Pearl."

The possibilities are endless ... it just depends on how artsy you want to get with it. If you need more help, go to: http://ets.freetranslation.com/ and enter whatever words you want translated ... you never know what you may come across!

Good luck!
