the situation is a little tough. You see she is at her fathers for the weekend and she gets stressed out easily and ends up with stomach aches. So this is my situation... her father lives about 30 miles away and I can go pick her up for a few hours to talk and do whatever but with the price of gas (3.49 gallon in CT) I can't afford to bring her all the way back home and its about 22 degrees outside so a local park is out of the question. What else can we do because she has already eaten lunch so that out of the question as well.

The only thing I could suggest is take her to see a movie, its inside. Do a google for theaters in the area, and map quest it from his house, if your not sure of the area.

If they have a play area, you could take her to the mall. The mall where we live has an area that kids can climb all over things and run around.
Or, Chuck E. Cheese is always good. Go to their website for coupons for token purchases.

is there a nail salon around?? could you go get your nails donw? my daughter got to get hers done for the first time this summer and had a blast, she even put it on her Christmas list that she wants red nails for Christmas! Good luck!!!
