I am in a bad situation, i promised him a cell phone for his 10th birthday, and his mother wont let me! Please post a comment saying the right age you think a child should get a cell phone!

I had the test to check for Down's syndrome and it came back positive. The doctor performed a sonogram and discovered that the baby's skull has not fully developed. I am five months pregnant and it is beyond the development stage for the skull to have developed. The doctor has told y husband and I that we have two choices--terminate the pregnancy now or I can carry the baby to term, deliver in April with the expectation that our baby may die shortly after delivery or at elast within two days after being born. We are devastated. This is my second pregnancy. I miscarried the first one at two months. I am torn as to what to do. My husband has left the decision up to me. My parents and friends all tell me to terminate--that I will not be able to handle delivering my child then he or she dies. My faith tells me to deliver, name our baby and see what happens. I don't think I would be able to live with myself if I terminate without giving my baby half a chance. HELP ME, PLEASE !

last period was nov 4th i have a 28 day cycle
we baby danced calender days 10,11,12,13,14,15,16
ovulation was around calender day 13-14-15 pos opk on calender day 13
im now on calender day 21 i have had cramping period type on and off for 4 days more at night than in the day
my gums bleed as soon as i brush my teeth not normal for me and i can smell things that before i couldnt if you know what i mean. sense of smell for raw meat and blood makes me feel sick
i also keep getting shooting pains in my boobs
i still have 7 days before my period is due what do you think

The struggles of single parenthood is very overwhelming at times - especially when you don't have alot of support with the child. Was thinking seriously about putting him in boarding school so I can struggle a little less, and he can get a great education.

My husband and I have just built a five bedroom house on the coast of Connecticut. We are looking to decorate and furnish a nursery for our baby girl that we are expecting in early April. We were looking/sampling colors, and we thought that a nice apricot tone would be a good choice for our daughter. Now we have to decide what furnishings to put in to her nursery! If you have any suggestions, links or ideas they would all be greatly appreciated!

(We are still wondering.. Dark mahogany or light wood?)

I know on the box it says ages 3 & up. But would it be ok for a 20 month old to play wit it? The house is made up of fabrics & poles. The door handle and stove handle is made of magnets. Wasnt there somethin in the news or online about magnets being dangerous if it was swallowed? I dont think the magnet on the handle wont fall.

With all the recalls & crazy things thats been goin on out there with toys , i wanted to make sure the rose petal would be a fun safe toy for my 20month old to play in since she likes toy houses. thanks

im asking because i know a girl whos name is mengel and its very speacial because i never seen it in many baby books or never heard of it as a first name. I don't want matchy matchy twin names, but I want them to flow stylistically. My obgyn assumes that they are identical because they're in the same sac so they already have to deal with looking alike, I don't want there names to sound alike and cause more confusion. Do you like these names?

'm 38 weeks pregnant, and for the past 4 days I've been constipated.. I know fun right. The 3 days previous to be being constipated I had really bad diarrhea. So today I feel like I have to make a bowel movement and nothing is coming. I felt super lightheaded earlier and I was just walking through my house and had a sharp pain in my lower abdomen for about 30 seconds. I dont believe I lost my mucus plug yet, Its a possibility that I havent noticed it though if it happened at night or something. Anyways I only had one pain like that like 5 min ago. I've heard contractions described and this didnt feel like a contracting motion kind of thing, it was just like a weird twingy pain. Is it possible that It is a contraction?

i have been ttc for a year now and im cycle number 2 of 50mg clomid..

normally when i ovulate i get a pain so i know ive ovulated. on cycle 1 of the clomid i didnt feel any pain so i thought i didnt ovulate. when i went for my x ray they told me that both my tubes were open and all was well

when i asked the gyn about upping the dose of clomid he checked my blood results and told me that i ovulated....

so now im on cycle 2 of clomid and stil on 50mg,, im getting really anoyed.. i just want a baby..... and its really making me depressed..

does anyone else ttc have any advice.. i know im about to get my af and its just put me on a real downer that the clomid isnt working as well as i thought it would.

im looking for a site that i can ask lots of questions on!? like a fertility site or something similar...

I'm 17 years old. I may not come across as that age, but I'm still a minor. For the past few days a Y! user who goes by the name Pluto on Y! Answers has pretty much harassed me with sex ed. Granted I was a bit of a smart *** when I answered his question about sex ed., but now Pluto can't seem to leave me alone. He has been sending me private messages regarding teenage sex and so forth. If it were in a day to day situation, by now I would have just beat the crap out of him, but unfortunatley I can't do that here. Apparently he has a Sex Ed website that I am assuming is based in Europe; his gramer is very European. I don't want his sex ed, and I have told him this, but he still presists on sending me these emails.

So is there a way I can prevent him from sending me these intruding messages? I don't want to have to block all private messages, but I'm tired of telling Pluto off and he's really just annoying me now.

arise in people who were raised by their birth parents. There are bad parents period. I've known adopted children with and without problems. I've known non-adopted children with and without problems. It's not adoption that's the problem, but the parents raising the child. that includes parents who gave birth to the child.

So for those of you against adoption, would you rather have a single mother on welfare raising her child in poverty? Would you rather she chose abortion?

Adoption today is very different than it was 10, 20+ years ago. I hope you also understand that adoptees aren't the only ones who have trust and abandonment issues too. It can happen to people raised by their birth parents as well.
