I'm not one for most unique names, but I do like the name 'Nala". Do you like it, and do you think it would remind people too much of the girl lion from The Lion King?

No sweetie it would not remind people of the lion king. It is a beautiful anme and thats all that counts.
See i hate how parents these days are so paranoid, and this is one of the reasons they are. They think a name from a movie will remind people of the movie.
But it won't! People will focus on the name. I do not want you to fall into the same trap my sister Lilly did. She was so convinced that if she named her daughter Sandy it would remind everybody of grease. Which is such an old movie that no further genaration is going to realize it is from that movie. And you know what she loved that name so so so much, but because of that she did not name ehr daughter that. She still chose a beautiful name, but it was not the name she truely wanted to name her daughter.
And hun, The lion king is a pretty old movie kids might watch it, But by the time your daugter is born there or during her life time there will probably be some new movie about somone named Nala. And if there is a movie with her name mentioned in it throughout her childhood, she'll probably enjoy it.
So name your child whatever you want, don't let a movie make your decision.
P.S I kind of liked the names from your previous question better.

The lion king is the only place I have ever heard it wexcept from one little girl I saw at a mcdonalds playland once. I think its unique...but pretty tied to the lion king
