I don't want matchy matchy twin names, but I want them to flow stylistically. My obgyn assumes that they are identical because they're in the same sac so they already have to deal with looking alike, I don't want there names to sound alike and cause more confusion. Do you like these names?

Meredith Grace & Bridget Elizabeth

Also, Other suggestions are welcome... I want something sort of classic, timeless, that will age well but won't go out of style, however, It can't be too popular.

Meredith Grace and Bridget Elizabeth are wonderful, and I'm glad you're choosing not to match the names.

Congratulations on twin girls.

I'm not a fan of the name Bridget, but that's just personal taste.

To me, Meredith is a name for a 40+ year old woman. Again that's just the first thing that comes into my mind, it's not really the kind of name I think 'suits' a child if you know what I mean. If you call one Meredith I suggest you come up with an appropriate nickname or shortened form to make the name more age appropriate.

I love Grace as a middle name, and although Elizabeth is very common I think it's a timeless name that will always be a favourite, so it's a great choice for a middle name too in my opinion.

Love them! I'm so glad you didn't go matchy-matchy. Meredith could easily be abbreviated when she's younger to Mary or 'Mer'...I think the name does sound older, but while she's young she might choose to shorten it.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of the name Bridget. I just don't like the sound of it. BUT, it's a cute name and it classic. She could even go by her middle name of Elizabeth if she wants. Or she could go by 'Brit' while she's young.

Good choices!
Congrats!
