we have 10 children. we had 3 of our own and adopted 7. The 7 are of different nationalities than that of our own. Nahlia is from Kazakhstan, Carlos and Javier are Mexican, Maylin was born in America but is 100% Chinese, Akeyla and Reggie are African American, and Isabel was born in Spain. i love my kids, and when i look at them, i don't see 10 faces that look different, i just see 10 wonderful children, all alike in some way or another. i just don't see why when we go out as a family, we get more stares than the guy walking around in a clown suit on stilts. are inter-racial families so uncommon in todays time?
