That is what happens when your skin is stretching.. it is uncomfortable, but all you can really do is use a soothing lotion and stay hydrated.

After you take a shower/bath try putting cocoa butter on right away, if it is still bothersome ask your doctor if it would be safe to use a 1% hydrocortizone cream ( lightly applied ) on the areas that itch. My doctor prescibed me some when I had this problem at the end of my second pregnancy (it was sooooo hot out) so that should be okay. Remember to check with your dr. first though, and good luck. Also you could ware really loose clothes so the material isn;t rubbing against your skin so much, It is streching as far as it can which will cause irritation all on its own, so if you can cut down clothing rubbing againts you it will help.

it's called 'PUPPP' and there is a name for it

Pruritic Urticarial Papules and Plaques of Pregnancy

your ob/gyn can prescribe you pills for this that will seriously reduce the itching i had this so bad that i would soak in a hot bath at odd hours of the night and shave and make sure everything was shaved because i thought thats what was causing this. the pills are similar to a benadryl and they work amazing and fast

i had it so bad that i scratched my skin raw so i can sympathize with your pain.

hope it gets better for you

Thats what happens when your skin is stretching and you're scarring. Get some lotion on it so you can avoid some of the stretch marks.

Get some shea butter cream and slather it on! With winter coming on, your skin will likely get even more dry and itchy!
