How did you tell him when you got pregnant?

Just curious as to any funny or creative ways you told him....

Went to Toys R Us, got him all sorts of toys, he was slightly confused I told him its so he can play with his kid. He gave me an odd look - I started balling my eyes out (you know all hormonal and stuff) then he said "what kid" then came, "maybe I should have gotten diapers because were pregnant."

I was having alot of trouble getting pregnant. I was two days late for my period and it was the weekend and we had planned to go out for a drink, I didn't think I was preggo (again cause it was a problem) but I wanted to take a test before I had a drink. I went into to the bathroom, and the test read positive, I started crying and when I opened the door he held me and apologized. He asked if he could see the test which was still in the bathroom, he just looked and said _oh my God_ I had a miscarriage a few days later and am ttc again
My hope for the next time is going to a nice restaurant, I want to pass him love notes under the table, after the third note or so, the next one will say - we are pregnant!

We tried for 14 months (including a miscarriage) for baby #3. I was terrified to take a pregnancy test and was 2 weeks late. Since I was so scared I ignored the fact that I was late. Anyway, I was totally in denial. My husband was on a midnight shift at the time. I woke up about 4 in the morning on Father's Day and realized how late I was. I took a pregnancy test and it was positive. I really couldn't believe my eyes. I had laid out cards the night before for my husband from the kids and I for Father's Day. I put the test underneath the cards. I never went back to sleep I was so anxious for his reaction. I laid in bed and listened to him come in from work. He opened the cards and found the test on the bottom. I had quietly gone into the living room to watch. I just started cracking up. He was so happy. I said 'Happy Father's Day!" We both cried. It was one of the best days ever.

It took us a couple years and oodles of fertility treatments to get pregnant with our first. My hubby was looking forward to months and months of lots of sex trying for our second. When I got the positive test after our first try I knew he was going to be a little upset about the lack of trying needed. So, I woke him up in bed and then, once we were finished, told him I was pregnant ("How'd you like poking your baby in the head, honey?"). I hoped that by telling him this way he would know that he could still "get some" even though we got pregnant quickly this time around. It worked and we laughed for hours.

Note -- if your hubby is squeamish about the thought of having sex while pregnant DO NOT use this method!

I cooked his favorite dinner. When he came home from work there was a candle lit evening dinner,movie and lingerie. The table had a place setting with a high chair and baby dishes,. I still have the bunny dishes and my daughter is thirteen.

With my first one i ran down the stairs screaming " THATS A BLUE LINE ISNT IT?" shoving a test i just wee'd on under his nose! With this one i txted him saying guess what, waited for a reply and told him he was going to have to do overtime because he was going to be a dad again.

We worked together and I met him in the parking lot then simply asked him "you ready for this" and he just looked at me and said yeah....then hugged me. We never showed any kind of affection at work either.

My husband kept telling me I was pregnant and to take a test, because I had been PMSing for three weeks with no period. So we went and bought a test, I told him I wasnt, but peed on it anyway. THE INSTANT it got wet it showed positive, and I yelled his name and started FREAKING OUT HYSTERICALLY HAPPY.

He got pissed off that I was pregnant, told me he hoped I was happen that I got everything I wanted and ruined his life, slammed the back door in my face, and didnt talk to, look at, or touch me for over three days.

And then he was an asshole my whole pregnancy. He didnt change until the MOMENT our son was born. Since then he's been the best dad ive ever seen or heard of.

Put the pregnancy test in a gift bag, and was joking about what he would say if I was and he luckily said he would be happy, and said but your not, then opened "his gift"
