I was just wondering how many ultrasounds do you normally have during your pregnancy and at how many weeks? I had my 1st u/s at 9 weeks as I thought I was losing my baby (I wasn't thank god) and then I had another one at 12 weeks. Do I have another one at 16 weeks or 20 weeks?

you know how men don't have to ejaculate in order for you to become pregnant, because there is still sperm in the fluid he produces, does he produce that, the beginning or the end of sex

Hi all,

Please help!!!

For a girl we have managed to decide on the name....

Emilie Grace

For a boy we unsure a little - we both like Jacob and my boyfriend picked Samuel which I like too.

However he HATES all my suggestions of middle names such as ...

Samuel Thomas
Samuel James
Samuel William
Jacob Thomas
Jacob William
Jacob James

I have even suggested Samuel Jacob and Jacob Samuel which he has dismissed as he says we could go on to have another boy later on and wouldn't be able to chose them names.

His reasons for not liking middle names is because they members of my family and he says he doesn't want to name our son after family relatives.

William was my grandfathers name and is my surname - not married to boyfriend yet but will be doing.

James is nephews name and Thomas is my brothers name which I have always lilked.

Can you suggest anything - I think Samuel Jacob and Jacob Samuel are lovely but he not budging!

He such a pain!

Lx

I don't understand the big deal as to why more people are adopting foreign babies. Wouldn't people think to help their own? There are millions of american children praying for permanent homes. I understand completely the poverty levels, malnutrtion in other countries, but what do you think the reasons are why people adopt globally? Do you think its fair to American people or your homeland persay?

The children in Africa, China, and other countries suffer from physical abnormalities, pyschological issues..as well as American children..I hear you can get a special "discount" for these types of children..it just sickens me...there are many innocent children in the USA who would kill for a permanent home..

Occasionally, as parents increase the time they wait before responding, their child cries so hard he throws up. If that happens, go in even though the time isn’t up yet. Clean your child up and change the sheets and pajamas as needed. But do so quickly and matter-of-factly, and then leave again.”

My baby is almost 6 months and I am looking forward to hitting the gym back up again. But I was just wondering if any moms out there experienced taking their babies at 6 months to be watched in the babysitting area at the gym... and if so was the experience good or bad?

I am 37 weeks pregnant. The past few days I have noticed my panties being somewhat "damp" and occasionally a wet spot. Now pardon me if this is TMI but it doesn't have that creaminess like a discharge and I know it's not urine. Could I slowly be leaking? Ive got a Dr appt coming up and Im going to talk to him about it, but just wanted to know if anyone else knows or has experienced this.

I am not old enough yet, but in a few months i am planning on adopting an older child, about 7ish. I was adopted when i was just a little baby and i feel like God wants me to return the favor and save a life. I want to adopt an older child because they have a lesser chance of being adopted. I'm just asking for advice, or anything to help me with the process! Thanks.

Why is everyone saying to the girl that said she hadnt felt her bub move much in the last 2 days to go to the ER!!

You normally dont start to feel movements till you are about 20 weeks with your first. I am nearly 23 weeks and i am only JUST starting to feel regular movements and he is a big baby his head measured 2 weeks ahead. I didnt feel bub move yesterday and i only not long ago felt a movement cause i had orange juice otherwise i proberly wouldnt have felt him.

This alarms people when you say go straight to the ER! Regular movement is not felt daily until you are about 25 weeks. I have been told that on here by many people who have answered my questions about movement and also been told by my doctor!! And read it in books!!

I just dont understand why people are saying this.

ok so i am only 23 and i have had around 5 ruptured cysts since i was 14 years old. i tried to talk to my doctor and he just suggested i get put back on the birth control pill to correct this issue. well first off, i was on the pill all those years origionally to regulate my menstral cycle. basically that was the only options he gave me. honestly he could care less, said it was nothing. well i've been off the pill now for a year and a half and i am now trying to conceive my first child. so far its been 7 months and still no baby. i finally bought those ovulation test strips and so far this month i have never ovulated. i started doing some research and i heard of this polycystic ovary syndrom. i had never heard of it before and it makes me mad that my DR could care less about my issue and then not inform me on this disorder. it said that it can cause infertility and my question is if anyone has ever had this or experienced a ruptured cyst & have you had any problems trying to conceive?
