I have hazel eyes, my dad has hazel eyes and my mom has green eyes. My partner and both of his parents have blue eyes. Can we have a blue eyed baby? Just wondering how genes work.

My daughter was recently let out of the hospital for being suicidal. I don't know how to deal with this. I'm watching her every moment and when I let her go to the bathroom she tried to drown herself in the bathtub. I don't feel she was ready to leave the hospital, but my health ensurance company decided that she can't be covered anymore.

What can I do? My daughter has tried to kill herself at least 3 more times! They said she was a disaster at the hospital. Why did they let her out after only a few days then?

I'm so worried. I've taken off work for a few weeks and my husband is working half days so he can be home, too.

I have to stay up all night by my daughter. I can't get ANY more than 4 hours of sleep and I have to follow my daughter to the bathroom!!

What can I do to get her back in the hospital?

ok this mom called " do your own thinking" just answered a question that someone posted about formula and " do your own thinking" called formula "inferior food" . Im sorry but breast fed babies r in no way better to formula fed babies. That really bothered me that she would say that. My 2 girls r formula fed and they r smart, happy and healthy, even though they eat the so-called "inferior food" Oh, by the way, just because you breast feed does not make you better than someone who formula feeds. Does anyone else agree? It just seems like everyone on hear that breast feeds feels like they r superior to everyone else. When in fact everyone is the same because we ALL ARE MOMS

Okay, so basically I live in maine. I am not for this at all, if they want the pill and don't want to have their parents to know they should go to a free heath clinic. I do not think school should be involved in these kids sex lives at all. If anything they should be teaching them sex ed if they're so concerned? I would like to have some opinions on this good or bad because Im writing a paper for my college writing class on this. Also what are other alternatives other then handing out the pill to these kids because thats what they're, are kids.

She is only 5 1/2 months old and this is early for any baby. I dont want her to hurt herself or cause damage to her legs. she can pull herself up, crawl. and sit up great. I have never heard of a baby walking this early. so should i stop her?

My husband, who watches our daughter and I work, will be deploying next year. He wasn't suppose to go until 2010 so we're in shock. I'm thinking it will be a little too traumatic for my daughter to have Daddy leave, go to some stranger for daycare, and hardly see Mommy because I'm working. What do you think? I'm planning to quit and stay with her while he's gone.

i don't want a name that's common or popular, i don't want there to be 5 girls with the same name in her class (or even one).
and my husband already picked out the middle name (and he WON'T budge!!) it's "AMUNIQUE"

I am 31 weeks pregnant with #3 and don't really remember alot from my other pregnancies since they were over 3 years ago.

Anyway, i have noticed that I am having more dischage and it is a lot thinner and sometime clear. I can actully feel it coming out sometimes (sorry for the TMI). I'm just wondering if this is normal and does it mean anything?

After seeing SO many girls ages 8 yrs old and up asking how to "make a boy love them","notice them" pregnancy issues(mostly in the 15 yr old range here) b/f's getting them pregnant dumping them etc.I asked why do parents let their teens date.
The ONLY GOOD response was actually a more "how to" than why answer.
The person who said they NEVER leave their teenage kids alone when members of the opposite sex are around......
YOU my firend have some sense.
Trust teenagers ?Yes.Trust teenage hormones?NEVER!
The answers I received that lacked wisdom were along these lines.
1.One person said I was jealous because I must not have dated much in my high school years.That was probably from someone who was 12 or wanted to re-live thier teen years vicariously through some other teens.
2.They need to learn how to "socialize".
If a teen is 15 and they have been in school since the age of 5 and do not know how to "socialize" YET, then they sure don't need to be dating.

My daughter is very young and was at the dentist on friday. She had 2 cavities and went to go get them filled today. The dentist told her what they were and filled them, and then let her go to the goody box to get an extra treat because she behaved well. Now, she thinks that cavities are the best thing ever and that you get special prizes for them. What can I do to explain to her that cavities are BAD and we need to start working better to get rid of them. I want to tell her in a nice way that won't hurt her feelings.
