i am 35 weeks pregnant. so for the past couple of weeks i have been have alot of pain in my pelvic area like someone is forcing me into a split but only when i first stand up or have been walkin for several minutes. its not actually my cervix or ne thing its more like my muscles and bones. plus i think i have been losing my mucus plug slowly its like little thick yellow blobs of snot..... i asked my dr and he said it was normal but im worried bc he tends to be very scatter brained and doesnt always hear ur question or care at that matter.. ne ways am i just getting anxious or am i really getting close to delivering

I lost my second baby on October 5, 2007... the first one was completely unexpected we had no idea we were pregnant...and we lost HER on MARCH 17, 2005...this time however, it has been devestating for me, although the first time was horrible also this time the baby wasn't planned but we were ready and almost expecting to get preggy...my husband blocks sh*t rather well and only cried in the doctors office...like last time we lost the baby... I pretend to hide it but little things (babies in supermarkets, baby magazines, commercials, ANYTHING BABY) makes me wanna just brake down and cry....he can pretend AMAZINGLY well...it drives me NUTS that he can do this..even though i dont cry hardly at all anymore...(I only cried(sobbing) for the first 3-4 days BOTH times) even though THIS time I do cry more often and i can't pretend NEARLY as well..... I feel like i am going CRAZY!!! My husband seems upset sometimes but not very often...Does ANYONE know what could cause him to do this??!!

Lately I have been suspecting that I am pregnant. For the past two weeks I have feeling very sick when I wake up of a morning and when I move aroung a lot, especially if I'm watching a t.v. show that has a lot going on. At first I thought it was just a virus because it seems to be going around my work place. Also, i'm going to the restroom often, but when i get there I don't go as badly as it feels I need to. My breast are not as sore as I have heard women explain when they are pregnant, my nipples are sensitive to the touch though. I have taken five pregnancy tests and all of them have come up negative. I have heard of women who have not been able to get a positive reading on a test but they are really pregnant. Could this be happening to me? p.s. I don't have regular periods, they only come about every three or four months, so that doesn't really help either.

What worked best for your baby?? I need some advice. I've done everything my peiatrician told me to do and people still tell me I'm doing wrong. My son is not gaining weight due to the reflux. So he is on cereal, in the bottle, thats the only thing working at the moment. He will not eat from a spoon yet. Trust me, Ive tried for weeks and the pediatrician said he's definately not ready. What else am I supposed to do? He is very underweight right now due to the reflux. I just started the cereal 5 dyas ago. If its working, he has no more projectile vomiting, no more screaming and he has an appetite now. Then what else should I do? I mean if people keep telling me how bad it is to give him cereal, then please tell me what I'm supposed to do. His doctor will NOT put him on meds because of other health issues. So please to the people who keep telling me not to do it, then you tell me what else to do. He has to keep his formula down due to poor weight gain, and hes finally keeping it down.

My 8yr old 3rd grader is not shy. Talks easily to anyone new, can carry on a conversation well. Sometimes we've had neighborhood kids come over for playdates, and they also go for swim, dance etc together.
But, she does not make any "close" friends. Plays alone at recess, hardly talks to anyone more than needed. Does well in group activities in class, participates, and is pretty good in academics.
I feel I've done what I can, exposed her to different friends, activities, playdates, going to parks. She just doesn't seem to want to bond with anyone particular.
She is happy and an active child with a great imagination and good nature/attitude.

I am not worried. Think friends will happen when they will. But, her teacher seems to think it odd that she doesn't have any friends, doesn't talk about any friends at school except her little brother.

is this something to be worried about?
What else can I do?

... affected (i.e. the middle child!) to be given a break from the situation until he gains his confidence.
I brought up four boys on my own and I didn't have this problem - the two eldest were more like twins for all of their ups and downs and although my third was a lot more sensitive he got by with my youngest and then I *made* my elder two take him under their wings and then the youngest was fine with his elder brothers.
I can see though that my middle grandson (who is also very sensitive) is being pushed out between Lewis and the baby and he *needs* more space and attention.
I want to suggest that he comes to live with me for a while but want a way of putting this across in the correct manner to his parents,
Here he will get all of the attention that he needs and I am sure that I can resolve all of his problems over sleeping/schoolwork and so on.
Any advice on "middle child syndrome" to back me up in this would be welcome.

I am doing a debate/propsing a law for a class. The topic I chose to argue is "Women who have a child against the father's objection should not be able the to seek child support." I need help with main ideas that I should address, if there's any relevant or applicable law and ideas of that sort. I need sound, reasonable, and logical arguments. I have my ideas already I have done a lot of research but I think asking this on here might open my eyes to points I may have not thought of. Also opposing views are welcome, it will help me in developing my counterattacks. Thanks in advance

My husband and I are going to have our 5 year anniversary in a few days. We have one child, a daughter, who turned 2 in July. She is the light of our lives. We both just adore her and love her to pieces. My husband and I both have baby fever again, really bad. The only thing holding me back is I don't want to deprive my daughter of any thing. She is becoming very independant, but still has her moments quite often when she wants us all to herself. I want to make sure she is ready emotionally and developmentally for a sibling. Any advice?

I am 22 weeks 5 days pregnant today, ever since i got pregnant and the morning sickness went away i tend to eat alot but it is healthy foods. I am still putting on weight!
i am about 5'4 and i was 72.5 kg when i first got pregnant now i am about 78.5 kg maybe a little more.

I know you need to put on weight during pregnancy but i dont want to put on anymore unless it is the baby's weight. I do eat a fair bit but thats cause im always hungry and it's only ever healthy foods. I try to walk at night but i am always so tired of a night time cause i work all day!! And i am getting really bad stretch marks from the extra weight i am putting on.

Do you think it would harm the baby if i just cut down how much i eat? I just get a little worried cause i never had a big appetite before i got pregnant and now i am always hungry, the doc did say he is a big baby. So i am scared to cut down on the food if it means my son will suffer!

we have been planning this awhile...he is so great with her but, he thinks my daughter is very spoiled and defiant and needs a change in behavior control. He is always getting angry with me because he is thinks i need to be more strict because i have too much of patient way of doing things that hasn't been working in the past year. We are constantly butting heads about what to do to get her under control. She throws fits about the foods she wants, the clothes she wants, when i brush her hair she throws herself on the ground...and it's not that i let her get away with these things, i eventually get them resolved, but he doesn't think she should be acting this way...I don't know what to do! This is very stressful to me.
