hi there firstly when me and my other half were finding it hard to conceive it is best for the women to make an appointment with Dr and the hubby to go in with her tell them your finding it hard to conceive they will firstly want to check you over before your hubby you know like basic hormone levels and the a day 21 test done to make sure your ovulating and they will want your hubby to give them a sample to do a sperm count then if that is OK they will turn to look at you more further as basically if a mans sperm is ok and everything down there is normal then there's not much wrong with his side sometimes its not even the women's fault either its whether your vagina mucus is OK for his sperm etc there are so many things to consider so go along to your docs together get the ball rolling as it takes quite along time to get anywhere with this as there is so much to take into consideration, hope this has helped good luck to you both xx

they will just do a sperm test as far as i know and the brown discharge is an indicator of pregnancy wait til your periods are due and if they don't come then take a test also after sex lay with a pillow under your bum for about 1/2 an hour this helps the sperm move to the back of your cervix good luck and hope this helps

he will be put in a room and givin a jar ...the nurse will leave the room............... he will either read porn books or watch a porn.............. dont worry they are really old porn my hubby tells me lol.....anyway.............. then he must do his business into the jar............... when he has finished he will then have to ring the bell to let the nurse know he is done...then it is taken for testing to see how many and how fast the sperms are ............. tell him not to worry but naturaly he will think everyone is staring at him...and its simply not the case.tell your hubby the nurses really dont care they are just doing there job and your hubby wont be the first or the last guy ............anyway ............. through our dr my hubby was allowed to do the jar thing at home and then take it to pathology straight away........... then when we were refered to the fertility specialist it had to be done in a room provided. hope this helps good luck with ttc and with you the spotting can happen around time of ovulation .............not everytime though...this has happened to me a couple of times ....you may be paying more attention to your cycles now that you have been trying for awhile......

Before you go to the doctors, take a pregnancy test first, you could be pregnant.

They usually start with a sperm count. Not sure what they do after that.
