I’m 7 weeks pregnant ‘Finally’ it’s been a joy up until now. The morning sickness is killing me. All day and all night nausea and vomiting. Even looking at food makes me sick. I’m so hungry, but can’t eat because everything looks and tastes bad. Can someone please help me get rid of it, even a little.

Ok....we found out 8 months ago that he has a daughter (10) in Australia...she was the result of a fling with a girl before he met me and we had a family. The girlfriend never told my husband she was having a baby, merely went back to her own husband and pretended it was his. 8 months ago she contacted my husband, admitted the truth and we had a dna test done. We have dealt with the fact that he has a daughter, but as they live in Australia and we in the U.K. we havent met them yet as money is tight... my husband speaks to the little girl on the phone a lot..we have a three year old of our own and one on the way in March. Now...last night my husband told me that he had spoken to his daughter and her Mother had come on the phone and told him that she (the Mother) Would be coming to UK in JUne with her girlfriends for a holiday and what about the little girl coming to stay with us for ten days. WellI have to admit that my first reaction was NO! I dont know the child...I have my own child

I mean what sounds cute on a baby/toddler might sound downright awful and silly on a 50 year old businessman or woman! Or a politician or a High Court Judge. Which is what those babies may well one day grow up to be!

When people choose these "cutesy" names for their little ones do they ever give any thought to that?

If a person was placed for adoption as an infant, but after he had been placed with the adoptive parents for months, the biological mother changed her mind regained custody, does he have the right to know?

I know it is very imortant to for a person to know that they were adopted, but is it their right to know that they were almost adopted, and were treated as someone elses child, and cared for by another family? Do you think it would be damaging to find this information out as an adult if your mother never told you?

(this is not my situation, just something that I'm curious about)

she's been on nutramigen since she was about 2 months old. she's 11 months old now, and is still on it, but loves yogurt made with whole milk: the yo baby brand. so, if she tolerates this yogurt so well, would it be safe to say that i could try to switch her to milk based formula for these last two months?

I just took a home pregnancy test and it came back with a faint (but definately there) positive line. It's only been 13 days since I would have conceived and I haven't even missed my period yet, I shouldn't start for another 4 or 5 days. I took the pregnancy test because i've been having really bad acid reflux and upset stomach for the last week, but I didn't expect it to actually come back positive. I also had a little cramping which I thought was weird because I don't usually get that until the day before I start my period. I am really trying to not get my hopes up because I've had problems trying to get pregnant and I've been let down before. Is 13 days too early to tell?? Should I go to the doctor tomorrow or wait a few more days?

Thanks!!!
