No your not! I also have a baby girl that is 12 days old today and she eats every 1-2 hours depending if I breast feed her or give her a bottle (pumped breast milk). She went to see her peds dr yesterday who said it was normal for newborns to eat every 1-2 hours. They will let you know when they are hungry by rooting around and "attacking" you or your fingers and trying to suck on them :O) As long as your baby isn't spitting up too much (some is normal) then your doing fine, don't worry! Good luck!

My daughter for the first several weeks would eat 2-3 ounces every 2-3 hours. She would wake up to cry and would want a bottle so I figured if she is hungry then to feed her. It also helped her gain weight..she was 6 pounds when born and lost a few ounces right before we took her home but she caught up quick. If the baby is hungry then you are fine. When you take your baby to well baby check up they will ask how much he eats and how often and let you know if you are doing good or if you need to change.

Most newborns take 2 ounces every 2 hours for the first 4-6 weeks then gradually increase the amount and time between feedings.
No you are not over feeding, he needs to eat about every 2 hours.

Well, I am not a rabbit breeder nor a rabbit owner but I have taken care of gerbils for years and my breeding female has had three litters. The best replacement to use is puppy or kitten milk replacer through a syringe into their mouths. They will most likely not drink any more once they are full, there may be instructions on the container as well. If milk replacer is not available then you should try goat milk, do not try cow's milk because milk alone is hard to digest. Otherwise, and what actually may be the best solution is to search for rabbit breeders in your area where they could have a nursing rabbit with few offspring to adopt your young rabbits. Most rodent breeders are very nice and will help you in your circumstance, email them or call them and see what they would recommend.

A newborn should eat every 2 hours. Sounds like he was just adjusting to this new place (the outside world) and is now getting settled and on a normal feeding schedule.

A baby wont feed unless they need to so dont worry. At about 2 weeks they go through a growth spurt which requires more food and sleep, they go through these regularly. If baby is generally well and alert when awake i wouldnt worry, enjoy your baby x

Newborns eat every 1 to 3 hours on average. There is not "set" time frame from one feeding to the next; and no set amount for each feeding. When baby is hungry, baby needs to eat as often and as much as s/he needs. So, no, you are not overfeeding your baby.

if he's taking the bottle every 1-2 hrs, then he is hungry obviously.....I fed my newborn boy between 2 and 4 oz. of formula every 2 hrs. at first, but I didn't force it on him, you can guage his intake and see if he's satisfied with 2 oz. at first, and burp him every 2 ounces, by burping him, will keep gas down and help him to drink as much as his little tummy will hold, you'll see a trend as he grow's, he'll want more to drink and will eventually make it thru the night on 6-8 oz of formula........aaaaaaaaa sleep..zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

as other people say if he wants to eat let him. but keep in mind for someting, if he starts wanting food every hour, watch for bloating of the stomach. if this happens, stop food immideatly.

Make him wait 4 hours between feedings. If you feed him enough then he does NOT need to eat every 1-2 hours - that's completely nuts!
Feeding him every 1-2 hours will only produce an obese child that will have tons of health problems.
