I went through the same thing with my second pregnancy and the only thing that seemed to help was squeezing real lemon juice on a damp paper towel and holding up to my nose. The freshness of the lemon juice made all the other "smells" go away and took away the urge to throw up everytime I smelled food etc. Also, sip very slowly on sprite and eat a few soda crackers. Anticipate when you are going to be in a situation that will trigger the nausea (like somone's kitchen when they are cooking, tell your husband not to wear perfume for a while, etc. and have that lemon ready so you can avoid becoming naseous before you even get a whiff) Get as much rest as you can and believe me, as much as it sucks, it gets to a point that I would be having a conversation with my husband and I would tell him "hold that thought" and go throw up and then come back and go "you where saying?" Take comfort knowing that this stage does not last forever, once you are past the first trimester or sometimes a couple of weeks before, the nausea magically disappears and you can start looking forward to more pleasant things like shopping for your baby.
I hope I helped. Good luck and congrats!

I had this with my last pregnancy and it's rearing it's ugly head with this one. I'll have a craving and go for it but once the food is here I'm really don't want to eat anymore!
What I've done is just eat small portioned meals. I stay as healthy as possible because, for me, the sweets, oils, and greasy foods make me sick. [Even lightly oiled pasta...] I try to do it about six times a day and I make sure I'm getting what I need.
Something I love and I'm always up for is a smoothie. The great thing is they are really healthy and stay down. I tend not to throw up drinks.
The problem with me is that I get too full too fast so I throw everything extra up and then some. If you just limit your portions it's less likely to happen. For example; instead of a big breakfast I'll have just a smoothie and a small bagel then later on have a snack with crackers and peanut butter. Then a bit later I'll just have a sandwich and a small bowl of soup. It goes on all during the day and it's a pain to have to continue eating but really you're only eating a little bit.
I hope this helps!!

I never really suffered badly from morning sickness but on the days I had nausea I used to eat a piece of toast or some dry biscuits (cookies) before getting out of bed in the morning and ginger helps morning sickness too. Ginger ale or ginger biscuits could help you.
Sometimes though, it just takes time to go away by itself. Usually by 12-14 weeks it fades but some women can experience it for a lot longer. If it does keep going your doctor can prescribe some medication to help control it.
Make sure to keep drinking a lot of water through this time because getting dehydrated could put you and your baby at risk.
Best of luck and fingers crossed it goes away soon!

Place saltine crackers by your bed.. eat before you get out of bed... try Preggie Pops (avail. at Babies 'R' Us or online)... I use to get up and even though I was sick I would eat a plain piece of toast and some water... Many mom's told me to eat red hots or something of the sort... so it isn't as gross tasting (I know that sounds gross... but you know what I'm talking about)
Good LUCK..... I had it morning- day- night- 24/7 for the first 4 months then I had a stomach virus, got dehydrated and had to get Phenergen (spelling?) tos top my throwing up so I could keep fluids down and after that I never had morning sickness again! :)

Talk to your Dr they might prescribe you something for it. i suffered morning sickness for the last 2 trimesters and having plain toast or biscuits helped for when I got out of bed cause if I didn't eat I would feel sick but then if I ate too much or stuff that was to fatty or heavy it would do the same. I hope you start feeling better, good luck : - )

Talk to your doctor about this, he/she may be able to prescribe something for you. You need to be very careful about dehydration, so he/she should be aware of the extent of the problem. But in the meantime, keep some crackers beside the bed and try eating a few before you get out of bed in the morning. I never had morning sickness, but my mom said this little trick worked for her.

The main cause of morning sickness is a combination of issues related to the chemical changes your body is going through. Mix a pinch of nutmeg powder with a table spoon of gooseberry juice, and take it thrice a day. Sip little by little ginger juice mixed with honey before you get out of bed. i am sorry hear that. this kind of feeling usually occurs during the first month of pregnancy. so just take it easy. and i think you should drink fresh water(best little hot water-not cold water) before you go to bed and right after getting out of bed. it is also advisable to drink some tea (without sugar) in the morning do not stay up late. do your work as usual but not hard work.
but some people try eating some fruits.
