Hi there,

I need your kind help and genuine advice concerning a situation.

Our 5 year old daughter was diagnosed with autism two years ago. She attends an autistic school full-time. It's her second year there.

Should she switch into a mainstream public school, she would be clearly entitled to additional funding from the government for her educational needs [owing to autism, of course].

We have the following two options for her to choose from. In both cases, she would be getting the same amount of funding, of course.

My QUESTION is: Which option would be best for her do you think? What are your reasons?

Me and my fiancee are 23 and will be 24 when we get married. We boh have good jobs and a nice stable home. We've dated for a year and a half and known each ther for 3 years now. We plan on trying to get pregnant right after we get married. I really want to get married before I get pregnant but it's really hard to wait when so many people around you are having kids. I know a year isn't that far away but it seems like it when you want to be pregnant now. Right now we don't have any money saved up for a baby. We're gonna start saving in Jan of 2008. In a year we'll have $5,500 saved up to start trying to concieve. We'll have $13,000 saved up total around the time our baby would be born in like 2 years. I just want to know if anybody else has been in my shoes and couldn't wait to get pregnant? Did you end up waiting or did you give in to temtation?

my last period was September 2 i didn't get my period this month . I took a at home pregnancy test and it came back negative so i got the depo shot . Two days after i got my depo shot i saw alittle pink blood on the toliet paper. I've been experiencing nausea, breast are sore, back hurts, head aches , emotional, tired, peeing ALOT more then usual. My tummy is getting alittle puggy . I'm getting stretch marks on my hips and breasts. " Could I Be Pregnant????" I'm getting a blood test tomorrow. Just tell me what you think??"

ok. you all misunderstood that last one and I got some RUDE answers.so let me try again. my parents would SAY that they don't have a favorite child, but in reality my "perfect" older brother is the favorite boy (there are 3 boys). (my only sister (8) get favored too, but my brother is worse.)
my brother is 20 and still has no job,(he has never had one) is living completely off my parents. my mom and dad pay for his school ($1500 per semester... community college) his gas, car, and his insurance. me, I'm stuck in the middle, with my other brother (who is just a pain in the neck). we get almost nothing we ask for... dad told me I have to pay for my own college because I don't want to go to the community college (where my brother goes and both my parents teach at), I will have to get a job the day I turn 18, and if I ever want to drive I have to pay for everything, even lessons.
I can't get a job until I can drive.

I was at Walmart shopping with my daughter (age 4). A black woman was there with her kids and somehow the little ones got to playing with each other. I was leaving to check out so I told her to come along. She wasn't ready to go yet, so she yelled out "No, dad, I want to play with the monkey!" Needless to say I was mortified and immediately apologized. The woman laughed it off (thank god), but how do I explain racism to my daughter? Has this happened to any of you?

So, our first son Clark, is 2 years old. I'm 19 wks pg with our second baby, and we just found out we're having another boy! We are thinking maybe another C name to go with Clark, but absolutely nothing having to do with superheros (ie: Clark - Superman). Anyway, what do you think of these choices? Any other ideas?

My baby's doctor said not to feed her for then fifteen mintues on each side. She is 6 weeks old now. She is still fussy after feeding like she is still hungry. Why only fifteen minutes on each side? Is it ok to nurse her longer so maybe she isn't fussy? The doctor also said not to feed her again for at least two hours even if she appeatrs to be hungry. Will it harm anything to feed her as often and for as long as she'd like or will this cause problems wit my milk supply?

Why do people make it their business and put down people who have had children before they were married.. Like it's an evil thing.. Would you of rather had the person be in an relationship they didn't want to be in or have the child brought up in violence, or have the father rape the child or beat the child and or the mother.. I have 2 kids , 7 and 5 , they have different dads, I split up with the 7yr olds dad while I was pregnant with him and met someone eles while he was a young baby. hes grown up thinking his stepdad is his dad, when he was nearly 2 i had my 2nd child with his step dad , a couple of years ago we split up , and my ex has both kids (occasionly ) and they still dont know they have different dads,
my son is only 7 and so far Its not seemed right to explain yet as he hasnt even approached the birds and the bees and so I felt that he may not fully understand the biological part and end up confused , hurt ..... rejected feeling .
but my ex has now boldly decided that its time to tell him and basically if I dont now he will .
so how do I approach this with a 7yr old , The one thought so far is with drawing up a family tree together ... I dont want to make it into a big deal , so he feels like hes ment to react as hes only 7 ,just slowly introduce the idea of him having 2 dads to build on !

I believe I might be pregnant I'am almost two weeks late, I have had nausea and only vomited once, extremly fatigue, sore breast, headaches,heartburn, and many other symptoms I havent tested yet. I took a pregnancy test at my OBGYN last wednesday and it was negative, i missed my period (10 days late), and last month my period was spotty, i am peeing more, cramping, but have not gotten sick (didnt with my first though), should i request a blood test? get a home test? or should i wait til next month i dont want to stress over this and miss next month to OMG im stressin now but wasnt b4 missed period o my gosh...

I was with my gf and we got carried away and I had precum on my penis but I wiped it with a paper towel and then penetrated her but only like half the penis and only for 5 seconds but with no protection(no condom) . Do you like the name Isabella for a girl ?? and call her Ella or Bella for short?
