I took a pregnancy test at my OBGYN last wednesday and it was negative, i missed my period (10 days late), and last month my period was spotty, i am peeing more, cramping, but have not gotten sick (didnt with my first though), should i request a blood test? get a home test? or should i wait til next month i dont want to stress over this and miss next month to OMG im stressin now but wasnt b4 missed period o my gosh...

i know you ob dr told you to wait but you can go somewhere else and have a blood test done or just ask your dr for one

For some of us a urine test just doesn't work for a while. It's possible that you just don't have enough HCG to register yet. Wait about 4to 5 more days and do a home test. If you still get a negative response and no period, call and make an appointment for a blood test.

Calm down, stop stressing!! Stress can cause your body to do crazy things and carry you through all sorts of changes. Since you have already gone to your OBGYN; I wouldn't advise you to wait any longer, go and have a blood test done to rule out the possibility of pregnancy; it could be any number of things! GOOD LUCK!!!!
