On Sunday i noticed that my 20 month old son had come out in spots, he was off his food and was crying and screaming in his sleep. He also has nappy rash but is it possible to come out in spots due to teething?

He could break out in hives from the stress or if he cries real hard. Ask his pediatrician. My son got hives when he cried too much. But they clear right up when he settles down.

Teething can do alot of things. It can cause rashes and fever. If he has a diaper rash, it could be a yeast rash but the doctor would have to determine that.

Dr. Hyland's Teething Tablets (I found them at Walmart) are homeopathic and are the single most amazing baby product I have ever used EVER. I am a dental assistant, and although rare, some babies are born teething and even have teeth upon birth! There is no age that is right for a teether. Please please please follow my advice about the tablets, they will make your little one happy as a clam, you will think its a miracle! They're about a quarter of the size of a tic tac, and dissolve instantly.
