Pregnancy & Parenting - 26 September 2007

My baby is 3 months 9 lbs, every night around this time she is VERY cranky. Tonights the worst... I have now given her pain relief drops and gas relief drops. She kicks, screams, seems to be hungry but spits the bottle outta her mouth, she is on a premature infant formula. I dont know what else to do, ive layed her on her tummy, burped her, changed her diaper, held her. I cant think of anything else! Please help!

Im registering for my baby shower online, and was wondering what type or brand of bottles I should use? There are so many different choices, and I have no clue which would be best or what kind pediatricians recommend. Unfortunately, I won't be able to breastfeed due to health issues of my own.
Someone told me to use the kind w/ the little disposable plastic bags to reduce the amount of air the baby takes in.... (?)

I am 22 years old and i have been married for about a year now, we dated 3 years before we got married. My husband and i would like to start trying for a baby. My biggest concern is how to tell my mother and father this. I love them both very much and would like to include them. They are not against us starting a family, just not right now. I am going for a BBA right now and my husband has had a steady, well paying job for 2 years now. How do i go about telling my parents so that they dont make this an unpleasant expierence for everyone?

My child is almost 16 months old and we're supposed to be moving in about a month to a new home. Do you think there's anything I should do as far as getting her ready for the move? I was thinking that we decorate her room first so she's got familiar things around her. I know she's little but I don't want her to be upset.

My wife and i just brought home our baby boy Aidan from the hospital. We argue about the tempature around the baby, the nursery and our bedroom. She thinks it should be warm which makes it very hard for me cause i can't sleep and when i'm feeding him in the nursery, i start to sweat even wearing just boxers. The thermostat is right between our bedroom and the nursery and it says 82. What is the ideal room tempature. Oh, she also like to swadle him and still place a blanket over him.

I mean male or female gay couples. why do you think they should or shouldn't. is there anyone who is a child of gay parents who can comment on what it is like. did you get picked on at school, what was it like growing up etc?

so i have a 20 year old sister Amanda. If you need food , clothes, or something important and your toddler starts crying .I have seen some people answer to take the kids out of there,Like they were never a toddler once.I guess the family should go hungry because the child needs to be taken out side and it is more important for others to be comfortable.Not all toddlers settle down and stop crying so the parent can go back in and get another chance to shop.Not all kids respond to hugs to calm down, especially mine she gets so many hugs and kisses at home it will not work in public. She wants to help shop instead that is what keeps her calm.There are sometimes when she does cry and a little bit and someone looks at me like toddlers do not belong.Please !! I do not think so.
