Last night I had such a surreal dream that I had a miscarriage. I'm about 3 1/2 months pregnant and this scares me...This is my second pregnancy and I have such a baddd fear that I will lose it. B/c I dreamed it do you think it will happen????
Anyone have any good ideas about calming my nerves about a miscarriage. My doc said since I am so far along that my chances for one are decreased but I still worry. I don't remember worrying this much when I had my first baby, Of course I was 18 then now I'm almost 24. Pls someone help me calm my nerves.

I am asking this a a legitimate question, so before anyone gets all huffy, this isn't meant to be attacking anyone.

We all know about the woman here who keeps asking about Teflon coated shorts, but what I just noticed recently is that she is getting so worked up about only ONE article written TWO years ago. When I did a google search about the "issue" the only thing that really came up was yahoo answers. It appears she is really the only one worried about it.

So here is my question. How do you, as parents, decipher what is crap and what should be listened to? There are articles upon artilcles out there about various common things causing cancer and all sorts of horrible diseases etc. If you took all of these things to heart, you would certainly be living in a sealed off bubble by now. So how do you decide what to worry about and what to ignore? Certainly we all want the best for our children but where do you draw the line?

I am just on my second round of clomiphene 50mg and i would love to hear from people how have had a baby on these tablets and how long did it take? TTC for 3 years now. I did ovulate on the first round but nothing happened.

Or a priviledge? Do you think it is ever acceptable to take away this ability from someone without their consent? What about programs that offer financial incentives for sterilization? What about conditional (somewhat coersive) sterilization - like if a mom abuses her first child, she could avoid or minimize jail time by agreeing to be sterilized...?

I will be traveling with my fiance and my now 4 month old who will then be 6 months old. Any ideas on what she can sleep in? This will be the ONLY time that we travel until next November so I don't want to go out and buy a pack and play thats $40 or more for one trip. THere are baby travel beds but those are also too expensive. Any one have any ideas? Would it be weird to put her in like an oversized laundry basket? I know, I know that sounds strange, but it could be made safe... any ideas?

They say that when you feed your baby when she's lying down and her head is not elevated (by the use of a pillow or something), it sometimes causes ear infection which I refuse to believe. I would like to ask anyone of you if this is true. Thanks!

How do you find out that you got pregnant even though you were taking brth control correctly. Did you not get your period when you stopped taking the birth control for that week your suppose ot get your period. I think i could possibly be pregnant even though im on the patch. How did you find out?

My son went on a school trip yesterday and ate at a place called Culver's. He said that he felt sick after he ate but thought it would pass. So he walks around trying to shake off this nausea when he suddenly squirts his pants. Immediately he goes to the restroom and sees that he sh!t his underwear. He doesn't know what to do with the sh!tty underwear so he tosses them in the garbage. Funny thing is right when he is tossing them in the garbage, his classmates walk in and catch him holding them over the can. They now are saying he sh1t his pants and making all kinds of fun of him. My son said this one kid that dislikes him said "you're nasty!" I told him to laugh it off today at school but my son said something that bothered me --he said "so much for my popular streak!" I don't want him to feel miserable he couldn't help it and he was up half the night sick from whatever he ate. He's in the 8th grade and I need advice --I know it's going to be hell on him today at school!

I just need some option on childcare i have a 8 year old an i just started a new scheducle at work he gets out of school at 3pm and i get out at % pm dose anyone else relate to this if so how are you handling it No he dosen't have older silbling It's just me and him...And I cant find any afterschool programs in the area where should i look ? what should I do? i have 3 sons a 10 yr old, 21 month old and 9 month old.My problem is the middle one all three have been brought up the same way with the same rules etc but he is just totally out of control, he is violent to everybody going out anywhere is a nightmare as he is a complete houdini at getting out of his buggy then he just runs off causing chaos as he goes.At home it is as if he just tries his hardest to be as naughty as possible.I have asked my health visitor for advice and she just says he is very intelligent and getting frustrated we have tried time outs and all the other popular methods but nothing works with him, he is too young to understand me explaining to him why he is doing wrong and yet I know that he knows he is being naughty. Another problem is he has a very high pitched scream that goes on and on whenever he doesnt get his own way or you take something off him.Our home is a fortress with locks and gates but nothing stops him and I am at the end of my tether.

Does your life center around your children? I know, mine does. My daughter is turning 9 yrs. old today, and she has been such a joy to our whole family. I would like to see all parents appreciate their children. After all, they are our future and they should be treated with respect. What do you do to show your child that they mean so much to you? other than feeling so sleepy throughout the day ( which isn't great at work) and in bed by 8.30/9.00 each evening, totally wiped out. But not other pregnancy symptoms, no sickness or anything, is there anything else I should be feeling right now??

I have had a slight dull ache in my lower back, no where near as bad as period pains, just there really, but not much else

How did you feel at this stage?

I'm not going to the hospital, it's so early on that if I do end up having one they wouldn't do anything. Anyway I had my first miscarriage two months ago, went to the hospital. At first I just thought it was implantation bleeding, it happened right around when I was supposed to get my period. I had taken a pregnancy test three weeks earlier (it worked!!) and so I had known about the pregnancy for a few weeks and it was devastating. So anyway hubby and I started trying again and I knew I was pregnant just like last time. Only this time I didn't take a test because we thought if I knew for sure it would be so sad if we had another mc. So here I am, the brown blood is back, and my husband doesn't believe that I am pregnant. He said just think of it as a period. I don't know how men work but this feels so awful to me. I'm sitting here in tears and my husband is at work. The bleeding is so slight but the cramps are getting worse. I know in my heart I'm having a miscarriage. Last time I

I am getting very frustrated and dont know what to do... I have resolved not to give my son anything with sugar in it untill he starts to demand it, the problem is that all (with the exception of one or two items) baby food has sugar in it! I dont feed him the bottled toxic waste, and make most of his food from fresh organic fruit and veggies, but it would be nice to give him some cereal every now and then and am frustrated that all of them are sweetened! I have also discovered that the follow on formula has sugar in it to... Can anyone suggest reasonably priced sugar free alternatives? It is not wonder so many children have behavioural problems nowdays.

Well today is day 24 of my cycle and my average is 26 so I find myself again sitting here and wondering. I decided not to temp this month because I felt it was taking over my life and well you know its just nice to be spontaneous sometimes so we decided to chill and that is exactly what we have done. That is until now ...............Last Thursday I started to feel unwell and developed a stinkin cold which I still have not been able to shake. The last few days I have felt a bit shakey and kind of strange in a non descript way then yesterday I past out and was out cold for 10 mins. I had a few period type pains a couple of days ago and now my mind is in over drive again. Am I or not, do I test or not. I don't know if I can stand the disappointment of a bfn but desperately want to know if it is a bfp. I know that in a few more days I will be a bit more certain if af does not arrive but arghh the waiting game is enough to drive you insane. Sorry for going on but any words of wisdom, advice or support would be gratefully recieved today.

I just woke up from having a TERRIBLE nightmare. I need some advice on what you think it could be from. I am 15 weeks pregnant. My husband works night shift. I had a dream that he died in a car accident. He died in my arms in the dream. I felt like I couldn't wake up. It felt so real. It went on for so long after he died. I felt like something or someone was keeping me there to let me see something or learn something. So about 6-7 weeks ago Me and my boyfriend were messing around. I think some pre-*** touched on or near my labia. I was scared that I could have been pregnant.
